I thought we were kicking against a slight breeze? The kicks seems to be going a big long, Bakers ran on and Lobb had one earlier that flew longer than expected

Bailey Smith BOG so far, love to see it - people have forgotten how good he can be. This is his prototype game currently, inside/outside midfielder, transitions the ball from inside to outside as good as anyone in the comp

Harsh HTB call. Hopefully Williams makes them pay

Took possession & took on the tackle with an arm free, which then got tied up and he couldn’t dispose of it. HTB 8 days of the week

Bazlenka having a cracking 1st qtr
Being used amazingly well - go to their best player and run off them. Same as last week. Learning from Treloar no doubt

On a negative note the selection of JOD is just bewildering, we do not need a 4th tall and we have no use for him or confidence in him that he’s barely playing half a qtr on the ground.

We’re a man down again, and honestly - why? What is the point?

Nothing against the kid but it’s just mind numbing. It’s so clear how much more influential McNeil would be to help lock it in after repeat entries than an extra tall when we already have no issue bringing the ball to ground

Good qtr by the Dogs, elite pressure but just not putting enough on the board when the ball was in their fw50 for 70+% of the time

Given he hardly played forward in his 3 VFL games either...

Seems very odd

I expect he will be replaced by another player from the VFL. There isn’t many options…. which is the problem.

Those 3 huge outs for the Crows has been massive for us as I knew it would be, time to get some % back

JoD over Buku is pretty much indefensible but fortunately it’s a fringe issue and not impacting us too much.

But there is no argument about time on ground when jod sits for half the game.
