I just watched a few of the others playing the game (T20 between the Stars and the Renegades, or teams in those colours), and had a chat to the guys about aspects of the game (like the fielding).

Enjoyed the extended to 6pm session today. Was good seeing the plethora of people come in and give the game a go, nobody that I saw walked away disappointed.

The only thing that was tough was trying to tell people how these new mechanics work when so many are used to the old schemes for batting and bowling. But it was great seeing people pick it up pretty quickly, especially if they're sports game fans as is, they seemed to 'get' the mechanics a lot easier.

Yeah, we had 2 systems that were fine (none were using retail discs though, just because we didn't want any sneaky thefts ) but then we had one system that was meant to be brought down to connect to the internet to allow for people to download and/or create people in the Academy and the system brought down had an old build on it (we're guessing the build was likely on the system already and thought to have been the most recent - in the rush to get it down there it wasn't date checked).

If you were there it was obvious that one system had the issues, the other two ran perfectly all day bar for some dodgy HDMI cables.

Disappointed I couldn't get down today but I've got exams to worry about for now.
