Donald Trump * Assassination Attempts

Crooks parents are social workers, I wonder what their views of Trump might be.
There's some claims from some very dubious sources, that his father is/was a psychologist/counsellor and that his mother used to be a school teacher/counsellor.

But from the below, and their age, its possible that one or both of them could have psychology degrees as well as other professional qualifications like as OT's, Social Workers or with teaching qualifications too.

'Mary Elizabeth Crooks and Matthew Brian Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, are licensed as professional counselors, according to the Pennsylvania Department of State Licensing System Verification service.

The 20-year-old attempted assassin's parents both have active licenses, the service said.

Both Mary and Matthew's licenses expire in February 2025, and they have been professional counselors since 2002, the records showed.'

Jack Black's band has cancelled itself and the remainder of it's Aussie tour.

Warning to everyone.
Publicly wishing Trump dead is currently a cancellable offence.

Hopefully this sort of penalty extends to wishing similar for anyone, including convicted and likely to be convicted criminals of even the worst kind.

Probably won't be long before there is a list of exceptions in the name of freedom of speech, and with US Presidents to be given (or give themselves) immunity from this penalty, when it comes to designated enemies of the state, especially those being targeted for assassination, and during military conflicts.

'Donald Trump assassination attempt at rally live updates: Tenacious D scraps remaining Aussie tour dates after uproar over vile Trump joke

Jack Black and Tenacious D have cancelled their remaining tour dates amid the furore over his bandmate’s “evil” joke about Donald Trump.

Jack Black has announced that his band, Tenacious D, will cancel all remaining shows on its Australian tour and suspend “all future creative plans”.'

SS head admits that the a decision was made not to put anyone on the roof where Trump was shot from, because the roof was sloped and assessed as not safe enough to station anyone on (because it was a sloped roof).

Why not mount a secure flat platform onto the roof.

Or erect a temp structure or vehicle with a platform in front of and adjoining to the building with a slope on it.

The problem with this revelation (assuming it is true) from the head of the SS, is that it means that it would have probably have been known by many at least the day before the event, that this roof was insecure and a vulnerability for anyone looking for a high enough spot to get a good shot at Trump, and/or others in the venue.

Why not mitigate the known roof vulnerability by stationing 20 armed security guards, with a licence to kill, around the building perimeter and any other parts of it that someone might use to get up onto the roof?

Or have snipers on a nearby roof with line of sight to all of that roof, dedicated to only watching that roof for anyone getting up on it.

The negligence and amateurishness of this is astounding. (assuming she is telling the truth)

The head of SS won't last long after this.
A matter of days.
Might just put herself on stress/sick leave.

'Secret Service director gives bizarre reason why an agent wasn't on the roof where gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on Trump as she rejects calls to resign'

'That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there's a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn't want to put somebody up on a sloped roof,' she told ABC News in an interview Tuesday.
'And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside.
...
She also said the Secret Service was aware of the security vulnerabilities presented by the building Crooks took a sniper's position on to aim at Trump. However, a decision was made not to place any personnel on the roof.

She also continues to resist calls that she step down over the incident, even while taking responsibility for her agency.

'The buck stops with me,' she said.

'It was unacceptable,' she told ABC. 'And it's something that shouldn't happen again.'

Cheatle is safe,Biden has his back.

Government will be reviewing their recruitment strategy soon. Massive risk, hiring the wrong the people

Horses for courses.

Having female agents protecting female politicians makes sense size wise.

Having them protect large men is ridiculous if they can't shield them effectively.

New video from directly after the shooting showing even more outrageous incompetence and lack of planning. Someone forgot to organise an escape plan for the government vehicles in the case of an emergency.

BFew - We need another Benny Hill video

Maybe Crooks changed clothing a couple of times whilst outside the rally venue to try and make it harder for Police/SS to keep track of him. Possibly having a couple of hats or wigs in his backpack for varying how he looked.

If he did, then the counter-snipers that took aim at him and killed him might have been given a report of someone wearing different clothing, or with a different hairstyle, and that caused them to hesitate for too long before shooting him only after he fired shots first.

Whatever the truth is, can't hide from some epic failures here. The conspiracy theories are out of control though - there doesn't seem to be any 'event' that doesn't get the conspiracy treatment these days.

It's "flood the zone" stuff.

These three guys in the crowd behind Trump. Look at how they react when the shots are fired. Everyone ducks but these guys stand up and scan the area.
