Why did he need to check his phone?
Didn't someone suggest the answer might have been pornography Proeagle ?

If so, they could well have been correct after the below revelation tonight.

His other disclosed below internet searches are a little weird.

Trump shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks used a drone, new motive update after phone search

'July 20, 2024 - 4:14PM'

'His electronic devices — a laptop and two mobile phones — have been searched, revealing his

recent internet searches were queries about Trump, President Joe Biden, the dates of the Butler rally and the upcoming Democratic convention.

Other searches were for FBI Director Wray, Attorney-General Merrick Garland and Princess Catherine.

Crooks also looked up pornography not long before he shot at Trump, a senior law enforcement source told The Daily Beast.'

'Trump shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks’ last online search was for pr0n

...
Failed Donald Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks’ final online search before the Pennsylvania rally shooting last weekend was for pornography, according to a report.

Crooks’ last search was found when the FBI gained access to the 20-year-old’s encrypted Samsung phone, a senior law enforcement official told the Daily Beast.

Initial attempts to bust into the Android device at the Pittsburgh field office failed, and the phone had to be flown to Quantico for agents to take a look at it, the source explained.

The only other recent activity the FBI found on the phone was texts from Crooks’ parents asking where he was.

The messages started around 1 p.m. and continued through the afternoon.
....

Six days after the assassination attempt, the FBI has mostly finished looking at Crooks’ phone and is now focused on his laptop and hard drives that were found in his bedroom, they added.

So far, investigators have found a troubling online history that included searches for Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley and other mass shooters, law enforcement sources told The Post.

Crooks had a photo on his phone of the mass shooter just after his arrest — and also had information about Crumbley’s parents, who were both convicted of involuntary manslaughter for failing to stop their son’s carnage, a CNN report said.
...
The discovery of pr0n searches on Crooks’ phone was “not unusual,” the source told the Daily Beast.

Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter Adam Lanza, for example, had images of child abuse on his phone, and al Qaeda suspects have been found to have made extremely disturbing pornography searches, they noted.

So 2 different good guys shot at Crooks.

And reports about what happened to the newly purchased ladder and a backpack of his.

‘One-in-a-million shot’: Sniper’s incredible act'

'July 20, 2024 - 8:28PM
...
The shot that killed the man who attempted to assassinate Trump was a “one-in-a-million shot”, according to a source familiar with the investigation into the shooting.

Fox News learned from the source the kill shot was a single shot taken by a Secret Service counter sniper whose view was obscured.

A local tactical team also took a shot at the would-be assassin, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, but missed.

The Secret Service sniper who killed Crooks could only see Crooks’ gun scope and the top of his eye and forehead because the lip of the roof was blocking the sniper’s view.
...
reports the ladder purchased by Crooks and backpack that allegedly belonged to him have been located.

Law enforcement sources told CNN, a workman discovered the ladder and the backpack lying on the side of the road near Crook’s home. He reportedly turned the ladder into authorities, having observed it on the road for several days.

So it was a “crook old shot”

How did he get on to the roof if his ladder was near his house? Didn't we see footage purported to have been Crooks climbing up it to get on the roof?

As I recall, the vid you refer to did not show the ladder, just him reaching roof level. Go watch the vid again.

You must have missed by below quote from a few days ago.

Officers believe that Crooks might have used an air conditioning unit to get on top of the roof.

The video I saw was someone climbing, presented as a ladder but it was blurry.
Maybe climbing up the much bigger ladder than the one Crooks is reported to have purchased that morning.
The ladder in post #209

I saw a clear photo of the air conditioning unit somewhere online in the last few days.
Will try find it.

'Trump would-be assassin climbed air conditioning unit to access shooting perch: report

'Officials said the troubled loner purchased a ladder from a local Home Depot prior to the shooting but did not use it to scale the building, positioned roughly 150 yards from where Trump spoke.

Instead, he used an air conditioning unit adjacent to the building as a foothold and climbed on top of the structure.

Classic quotes from the over 10k of youtube comments to the vid in my last post.

'The Secret Service is so secret that nobody knows what they are doing, not even themselves.'

'You can't really say he evaded them when like 10 people pointed him out to them. He didn't evade them, he was ignored by them'

'He didnt ****ing evade them. The security service evaded him.'

'If this was a movie plot, no one would believe it because of the utter incompetence.'

'To call this a clownshow is an insult to clowns'

'What is the difference between my post and a rooftop? The secret service is monitoring my post.'

'Local law enforcement had reportedly stationed three snipers inside the building whose roof was used by the gunman
Today, it was reported by Pittsburg media that there were no Police or sniper teams inside the building under where Crooks allegedly shot from on. Contradicting what the media was told by the Secret Service Director.

This was explained by it being the adjacent building that they were in. (see vid below)

Trust in Government takes yet another dive with the below revelation.

'Secret Service honchos denied Trump additional security for 2 years before assassination attempt: damning revelation'

'Updated July 20, 2024, 9:13 p.m. ET
...
Secret Service officials repeatedly rejected Donald Trump’s request for additional security in the two years before last weekend’s assassination attempt, The Post has learned.

The ex-president, 78, asked for more agents and magnetometers at large public events he attended, as well as extra snipers for outdoor venues, four insiders told The Washington Post, which first reported the damning revelation.

Each request was shot down by senior officials who claimed the agency lacked the resources Trump was asking for, the outlet reported.

Outrage at the security lapse led the federal security agency to up Trump’s detail to the same level as President Biden, The Post exclusively reported earlier this week.

The Secret Service initially denied claims that someone from Trump’s camp asked for more help ahead of the deadly shooting as “absolutely false.”

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who has faced mounting pressure to resign in the last week, doubled down on the denials in a meeting with Trump campaign leadership in Wisconsin on Monday, the insiders said.

After massive holes in the ex-president’s security team were revealed, however, the agency has changed its tune.

Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Secret Service, admitted to The Washington Post that the agency had denied Trump’s request for additional security, but claimed it had only learned about the new information in the wake of the tragedy.

Guglielmi told The Post that there were “some instances where specific Secret Service specialized units or resources were not provided,” but that the agency instead utilized state or local partners to add protections.

Insiders told The Post that local law enforcement was recruited for the Butler, Pennsylvania rally because Secret Service headquarters denied the ex-president’s request for extra resources.

Trump’s personal detail asks Secret Service headquarters for resources –manpower, equipment, tech — headquarters approves or denies at their discretion.

Only when denied would the detail inquire with the field office, which would backfill with any available resources, including local law enforcement.

The extent to what security Trump is provided varies from event to event depending on what the local field office can provide, sources told The Post.

I wonder whether there wasn't an element of passive agressive revenge on his parents if he was looking up the Crumbley's case.
Was he checking to see whether he would get his parents into trouble, did he want to get his parents into trouble?

I've see that the family home was described in the NYT's as being the same as a hoarders house.
This is an interesting marker, as two cases come to mind of men living at home within a hoarding situation:
Here 1/ Euradice Dixson's murderers and 2/The Bondi Masacrer's parents house (though he wasn't living there at the time). In the USA the LISK suspect and there are others but I can't recall right now who.

Is this becoming a marker of 'a pre-action mental stressor'. The "not unusual" discovery of pr0n, the element of modern disassociation and disaffection of 'young men' is common that is true and the flow on affect is to treat all people as objects. The worship of plenty of disturbed young men of the 'school shooters' and who has the higher body count score is well known.

I'm dubious about the time that he was known to be on site and the 'ignoring' of him by the secret service for a time period that allowed for shots to be fired and the subsequent rhetoric that is going on.
I'm actually not believing a lot of what is being reported as there is something very fishy about this incident and how it is being played out by the 'stakeholders'.

Was this young man actually manipulated into doing this deed. Something we may never know, if it was a direct but subtle manipulation.
The culture that Trump and now JD Vance subscribe to, directly encourages the susceptable to use violence as a solution.

For those that think he was a bad shot or it was staged.
Using the same weapon below. There is a much longer version on twitter Youtube. Pretty cool the tests they did.

Was wondering how long it would take for Trump to come out and state this.

Hes been very quiet about the entire thing. Except for his original written statement that was more about the civilian death and injuries.
