Donald Trump Rally Shootings - Two Dead Trump Injured

As expected, Acting Secret Service Chief Ronald Rowe Jr. has testified that communications problems between the Secret Service and local law enforcement led to a failure to protect former President Donald Trump during a shooting on July 13.

Mr. Rowe described problems with communications among law enforcement agencies that delayed critical information from being relayed to the Secret Service. There was a 30-second window between when local law enforcement saw Mr. Crooks with a firearm and when Mr. Crooks started shooting. It would have been enough time for a Secret Service countersniper to react, Mr. Rowe said, but only if the countersniper had received that information contemporaneously.

“It appears that that information was stuck or siloed in that state and local channel,” Mr. Rowe said, drawing questions from lawmakers about why the various law enforcement agencies could not communicate with one another better.

All the Secret Service knew, he said, was that local law enforcement was working on an issue regarding a suspicious person. While the Secret Service received a photograph of Mr. Crooks about 30 minutes before the shooting, he was one of several who had drawn the eye of local law enforcement that day.

Acting Secret Service Chief Ronald Rowe Jr. has testified
Anyone that watched his lengthy testimony the other day will likely understand that he's probably not going to be be in charge for very long.

Here's 3 hours of it below (Times)

'Acting Director of the U.S. Secret Service, Ronald L. Rowe, Jr, and Deputy Director of the FBI, Paul Abbate, testify before Senate Judiciary Committee on the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.'

Yes. This is not a dream.
The acting head of USSS actually finally just did their first press conference about the Rally shooting with media Q&A's

Seems like they needed stronger string for their tin can communications system.

The only thing that appears to be secret about this gamma version of the SS, is how secretly inept they were.
And that's being kind, and giving them lots of benefits of the hugely understandable doubt.

Watch it below.

The one page Autopsy Summary Report (for Crooks death).

'Local Pennsylvania authorities released a one-page report Thursday outlining how the man who attempted to kill former President Donald Trump died.

Butler County Coroner William Young determined Thomas Crooks, 20, died from a single gunshot wound to the head at 6:25 p.m. on July 13. He ruled the official cause of death a homicide.
...
Butler County declined a request from the USA TODAY Network for a full copy of the autopsy results, citing the state’s record law that specifically exempts it. It is unknown whether officials tested Crooks for chemicals or medications as is standard in autopsy examinations.

With so many ppl at the Rally with their mobiles out filming/streaming, it would not surprise me if the local mobile network(s) servicing that location did not have capacity to cope with the volume of traffic.

And after the shooting started, demand for mobile services from that location would have likely escalated very very quickly.

Or someone(s) maliciously caused disruptions to the mobile Networks at the event.

The Post obtained a previously unreported transcript of more than seven hours of encrypted radio communications by local police at the rally that day and interviewed multiple law enforcement officials, some of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation.

On three occasions, a local officer inside the Butler County command post had to relay information about Crooks to the Secret Service hub by cellphone — on a day when cell service was balky and unreliable.

“I’m trying to forward photographs of the individual,” said a local tactical team member at 5:47 p.m.
“Units be advised internet and cell service is down,” another officer on that channel said a minute later.
“Your picture is probably not going to go through because I don’t have any service,” a sheriff’s deputy radioed at 5:49 p.m.

Around this time, a Butler County tactical officer said he had “notified Hercules,” a code name for Secret Service countersniper units, according to the transcript. It’s not clear how that communication was sent.

If they were working from inside the shed that might partly explain it. Our mobile service is very sketchy inside our shed.

When a remote area is expecting an increase in mobile communications, the organisers usually import an auxiliary transportable service centre for the duration (such as for outdoor music festivals, car races and rallies). I think this was a tiny town, so maybe there wasn't sufficient service for the increased numbers of attendees?

Then they should have never held the event in this tiny town.

And security and law enforcement should be operating on their own wireless communication networks that is in no way reliant on the local public mobile networks.

Note the end of the video - the disbelief of officers that not one officer had the roof the shooter fired from covered.

There they all were - bunched together below as the shots peeled off above them.

The Butler police officer’s body-worn camera shows how an officer was hoisted up by his colleague onto the roof, quickly dropping down after he sees the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Is it just me or does the footage not show what it’s supposed to at the start, no footage till after the shooting?

Then your video is not the same video I’ve seen on multiple YouTube channels this morning.
Not sure it’s just the one at the top of the page of your link.
It starts off with about 5 seconds of this screen with audio where you hear the shooting.

Then goes onto the body cam footage post the shots.

I did not post a link
That was Festy’s link.

Here’s a Fox news article link with the full video that I saw on YouTube.

Crooks body being cremated 10 days after the shooting, is only fuelling more of the same with this case.
