Makes sense for West Coast to give the Hawthorn F2 for both of Adelaides F3s.
West Coast would be in a great position to get another first round pick in 2025 by packaging those up and getting up the order.

Who would want to trade an F2 for 2 F3s a year ahead of time? Not as helpful for points as it once was and even then I cant see the benefit to any club doing that trade a year in advance.
100%. Why would westcoast trade down? They have loads of picks next year. Would want to package to trade up if anything.
Trading an F2 for 2 F3s a year in advance just limits flexibility for no real benefit.
F3s arent really worth alot in the new world of bidding. Maybe if it's 3 F3s someone will bite.
The interesting question is if the Crows hold firm do North take the 2 F3s anyway?
If North are taking Tauru at 2 or 4 regardless its still something for nothing. Lets not pretend they have anyone else in mind if they are entertaining that trade.
Or maybe the Roos dont like the optics of the trade at such a low price and think thats worth forgoing the 2 F3s? Or maybe they dont want to take the very minimal risk that Melbourne pick swaps with blues to get tauru?

More interesting for me is who the Crows would be trading up for assuming Lalor goes at 1 (which I'm not sold on either).

Crows want Jagga apparently.
Could be as simple as having 2 f2’s allows a little more flexibility at the trade table.
Ie north could now package f1 and f2 for a pick this year
