Whats peoples thoughts on Ben Brennan from the calder cannons showed some signs in the Tac grand final with his mobility around the ground and have been told a few clubs have spoken to him, could this be true?

Daniel Currie could be a smokey in this years draft he is a bottom age but is showing plenty of potential even tho he almost injured his leg in a cab on the weekend after the cab driver went 100 km/h around a roundabout and hit a gutter

I played against him in the Sunraysia League and he was reasonable. Probably about the 4th best player in his team. None of the other 3 made pioneers. Admittidly I haven't seen him play since he moved away, but unless he has drastically improved since then I can't see him making an AFL list (Unless the name continues to carry him ;) )
Obviously you no nothing about football, Robbie Tarrant killed everyone in the Sunraysia league. Yes he has had three operations but give the guy credit, judge him on his own merits and not what his brother does. Top classs player.

Brad Collins?? captain of the murray bushrangers played in the under 18 National champs for Vic country. Any thoughts on him?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if John Beveridge comes out of left field for the Saints. In 2004 it was Gwilt and last year Sweeney. Both very much smokeys.

Alistair Nevell B + F winner with Coburg Tigers is one and

Ryan Mullett Vermont B+ F Winner is being looked at by the Roos also

along with Dean **** from W.A, Jamie Macnamarra also could come up as a smokey with some saying these two could go late draft or rookie listing. Both attneded the state screening a month ago or whenever it was. Although havent seen them on any phantom drafts? thoughtS?

what about young nathan lyons thier were big wraps on him last year almost being picked up, started slow but burned the last 5 games for jets, and against quality opp...can take a hanger lightning quick prob just needs a chance...anyone heard of him?

DAMIEN HORBURY N/BALLARAT REBELS must be a chance very solid full back all year good size body, strong mark ,long kick. I rate him a lot better than other name players from the rebels. any thoughts

Undersized defender whose best asset is his kicking but isn't quick and hasn't proven he's got the engine to play midfield.

no hope for your mate im afraid. He was r*ped in the grand final by goldstein and crozier after duyndam went down.

thanks FOOTYMAN but from what i've heard coach didn't give him the opportunity to go up to the midfeild and kept him at fullback all year cos they did'nt have a better option there.
