Greg Denham reported this morning (SEN) that we are shopping Cooney around for the "right price". Not confirmed, just his opinion based on what he has heard. KB replied that Stevie Johnson was offer to the Pies for a 2nd round pick because "his ankles were shot and he would never be the same again". The trade didn't happen.........The Cats dodged a bullet!

i wonder what the 'right price' for a mid twenties brownlow medalist with a wonky knee would be?

That's a worst case scenario, as far as I'm concerned.

But he played forward for large chunks earlier this year and could hardly kick a goal.

And if his knee is like it was this year he will play 3 or 4 then miss a couple so might only play 13 or 14 games.

At least Emma is reliable and honest... Best footy journalist out here IMO. Sam Reid would be cheap and useful for them. Would much prefer Addison if I was GWS. Anything we get for these players and Hill is a win IMO.

This situation with Howard is worrying, how he has not been re-signed is worrying. No rumours that he wants home? Port have the first pick in the PSD from memory so we really need to either get some value from him from Adelaide (fancy on trading that mini draft pick Crows?) or preferably get pen to paper tomorrow.
