Dude, it really wasn't that big a deal, a weeks suspension but can still play in the SANFL? Come on, clubs dish out week's suspensions these days at the drop of a hat. With the way our season was going, the club felt they had to crack down on any lapse in professionalism, no matter how minor, lest it spread amongst the playing group. Just because our season's over doesn't mean our players can just do whatever, hence an example was made, simple as that. They could have fined them, but what's a $5000 to Bernie or Stiffy? Nothing really, it might hurt Jaensch, but then you've got the issue of double standards.
The reason Jaensch isn't back is because his form for Sturt quite simply hasn't warranted it and his spot has been filled. He'll be back, I'm sure of it, just give him a couple of weeks.
Thanks for that.
