We have less senior guys winning/demanding the footy than we used to.

I'd be suprised if he sustained high 90's tbh but it is possible given our current side.

He's not really been used too much differently - wing/hbf.

I think a 90-95 average is what we should expect from Brad Symes for the rest of the season. Historically he has been a good scorer and he has benefited even more from McLeod and Edwards' absence.

His durability is absolutely terrible though, he's as light as paper and has a pretty bad history regarding injuries. Almost guaranteed to miss at least 1-2 games before season's end so something to keep in mind if you're trading him in.

I think both of the guys would keep their spot in the side (Davis might be fighting with Bock to keep his spot) and you will know come Thursday with our match been on Friday so you will be ready for any late changes. As for choosing which one to start I would go with Jaensch for the fact that he has been able to score much higher then Davis (94 compared to 71) so you may as well go for the one who has the better chance of scoring higher (assuming he is playing).

Just thinking about captain choices.

Ablett will get Reilly?
Chapman will get Doughty?
Bartel runs H2H?

is that how Neil Craig usually rolls??? I actually leaning towards Chappy but if Bartel isnt going to to get a tag I would feel better giving him the captaincy.

Bartel has a great history against the Crows with his past 5 all been over 100+.

Ablett has had Shirley for most of his career when playing and has struggled but that has changed now so still worthwhile considering.

Chapman has only scored 100+ once against us and that was last year where he hurt his hammy and still managed to kick 5-6 goals.

He was dropped because his form over the season as a whole has been rubbish, largely due to injury robbing him of a pre-season and severely limiting his fitness. With Mackay returning to the team and everyone else performing better than him, Porps got sent back to the SANFL.

Not sure how long he'll have to wait before getting an AFL gig again. He has a LOT of work to do on his fitness before it gets anywhere near AFL standard.

Hi Crows,

Bernie Vince looked like his was back to his old self last weekend.

Is he likely to continue on with his form?

I'm contemplating trading Cooney for Vince and $98K.

Worth it??

I'd go for it, its decisions like these that can make or break your season. Vince has the potential to, at the very least score as well as Cooney, if not better, if he can hit top form, which he certainly did against Geelong. There's a risk in that, as Vader quite rightly pointed out, he had a quiet game the week before. However I get the feeling that the Geelong game might have been that breakthrough game he's been looking for all year.

Hey guys sorry to intrude on your board. Was just wondering on the chances of davis playing. Im currently 1st in sc and silvani and shaw are out so kinda annoying if davis gets dropped haha. Any info would be great guys :thumbsu:

Has been named for his SANFL club North Adelaide, so very little chance unless someone drops out last minute.

Gents,

Any truth to the rumor that Goodwin has been forced to retire now rather than the end of the season due to his Ankle injury?

The lack of a thread on your board suggests that it probably is just a rumor.

Cheers!

is recovering well, and an article posted today on the crows site stated he may be fit for this week's game against Richmond. if he's not, you'd assume he'd definitely be back next week then.

evenin'

bought in porplysia last week, scored 90, then they drop him.

why ?

is he likely to return to this winning line-up soon ?

lo & behold, late changes forced his return.

does this guy have any job security for the remainder of the year, or should he be trade bait. currently part of my on field brigade.

He remains dependent upon injuries to better players for his ongoing selection. This week he was out of the team until Goodwin busted his ankle.

Next week, who knows? Goodwin will probably be back, but we need a replacement for Johncock and Porps is still probably next cab off the rank. If it were up to me, he'd be locked in the training rooms until next February, but I'm not a selector.

Hey guys

Matthew Boyd has been my captain for the last 3 games and has done very well, i'm just worried about this week though.

Is there anyone in the crows currently playing a tagging role that could keep boyd to a quiet game?
