i already have houlihan in my backline and i dont really want to start with yarran or ziebiel as there is too much risk there as i already have hentschel starting

You need both your rucks playing every week. Currie is currently injured, I think, but even without the injury he's not worth starting.

If you want a cheap ruck option, downgrade one of your mids to get HMac in there.

I really like your side, quite similar to my own. I would probably look at a Chris Knights, Danyle Pearce, Daniel Wells who are playing and are having good preseasons. Also are you willing to take the risk on Shaw?

Overall one of the better ones ive seen

Good side. I think VB is in doubt for R1 though, maybe check the Crows board. Like the midfield, lot of depth.

My side at the moment:

B: Goddard, Cornes, Bock, Waite, Houlihan, Raines, Grimes (Hill, Petrenko)

M: Corey, Swan, Gibbs, Mackay, Rich, Otten (Anthony, Robinson)

R: Cox, Petrie (Graham, Spencer)

F: Deledio, Didak, Giansiracusa, Sylvia, Higgins, Skipworth, Ziebell (M Brown, Walker)

Mids are a bit thin, but they should all be good trade options. Moved Ziebell to the forwards for a bit more security.

Thoughts?

alright compared to this time last year i have done zilch research so some thoughts on my team and where i have gone wrong would be helpful to say the least.

I'm not worried about anthony as a bench option, it's the guys starting ziebell i'm concerned for. Particularly on the SC board, they're just lemmings. Why put him ahead of brown, gumby, or walker. Can someone ellighten me?

jesse smith is to injury prone. Already done another hammy.

Try and downgrade some of your more expensive players for more consistent ones rather then the few standouts

what do people think?
obviously taking risks with mal and drummond in the backline, but i have hill to cover. I also have a good gut feeling about drummond this year, and i believe you have to follow you're insticts.

I went for a rookie/gun midfield..

Ruck is pretty standard,i rekon this would be a common set up.
Forwards..ehh yeah bit weak, but will have ziebell/sidebottom rotating on the bench each week.

Hi all, first time DT'er so not sure how my team looks. Ive used some of my SC team so not entirely sure if they're suited to DT.

B: Fisher, Cornes, Lockyer, Drummond, Raines, Grimes, Hill (Rance, Petrenko)

M: Bartel, Kornes, Cross, McLean, Skipworth, Rich (Beams, Robinson)

R: Cox, Leuenberger (Cordy, Currie)

F: Richardson, Deledio, Boomer, Gia, Houlihan, Higgins, Zeibell (Sidebottom, Grant)

Thoughts? My backs look risky as hell so im thinking downgrade McLean to a Masten or Hasleby and upgrading one of Grimes or Hill? Or is a two rookie position not a great risk seeing they'll both getting decent game time.
