Here's a little stat for Leigh:

Between 1967 and 1980, Collingwood won more games than Richmond (excluding finals).

But there's 5 "good games" for which Richmond is remembered as a powerhouse during that period. None for Collingwood.

When you have panel members actively bagging the shit out of current players in their roles in the media and you wonder how certain players dont make it.

I don’t know if this is the reason, but do they sell tickets in groups because that enables the ground to only open certain sections of the ground which helps with assigning security, opening food outlets and bars etc….??

Obviously if this is the reason it’s stoopid to do it for this game when any muppet knows 70k+ will show up…. but maybe that’s why it’s done in general??

Let’s think about that segment in general … it’s Martin’s 300th game this week. And they choose to run a segment which highlights Martin is NOT one of Lethal’s top-3 players this century.

On what disrespectful planet would that be deemed appropriate ?

It’s like doing a tribute concert for John Farnham and then pre-concert having Molly Meldrum pop up on screen saying his best 3 x Aussie performers of the last 50-years are Jimmy Barnes, Michael Hutchence and Kylie.

Just the usual Tiger despising tripe from the media. If you had a semblance of respect in the week of Martin’s 300th you’d have Lethal rate his best finals player this century which would probably be #1 Martin, #2 Hodge and #3 Voss - even if they did that after his initial
top-3 you’d understand it.

Just sh*tting on Martin and Richmond for the clicks.
