wouldnt excite me or concern me too much, solid enough pick, cant really criticise it, i personally would have gone a QB in that situation where you had no idea

I dont think the 3 OP was stupid. What's stupid is the rest of us not grabbing QBs early as well so that it never became imbalanced.
Then everyone would've had 2 top QBs, and every game then would've been more tactical where someone might play their Tavaris Jackson as 3rd QB while somone else played 2 TEs and 3 WRs.
But this is just what I wanted....more flexibility to play more positions. It wasn't meant to be only 1 QB per team starting like a real NFL team.

what do you mean? the league page has the scoring settings and the projections and last years points are based on those settings

i find looking at the actual scoring system helps very little, looking at the actual rankings based on last year and projections gives you a much better understanding of how they actually work

Being dynasty i didnt really look at bye weeks at all in picking my team, but very happy to discover that of my 5 players drafted so far, none share a bye week, means there wont be one week where i basically give away a game, very pleasing!

No, but they provide a very handy guide to make informed decisions. Doesnt hurt when you've got pick 7, which is after the real obvious LT, Peterson etc picks.

I found it odd at the start but can't complain... People jsut didn't think through... A few including gg and myself aren't necessarily aiming for huge scores now, obvious enough for gg at least
I ain't afraid to reach because that is the nature of Dynasty for some... Some people want to go for massive young reaches who people are confident in, others go for early success... Neither is wrong perse...
For those who want to take their time with Dynasty, they can grab some younger unproven QBs when the likes of JD/Dspeed are filling up the rest of their possies... These QBs may prove to be just as good picks as Brady and Brees if they can live up to their potential... Nothing wrong with either strategies. It can be a lot more risky to go for youth, but at the same time it can be very exciting, hoping for youngsters to get games, prove themselves etc... Heck many other Dynasties would have picked Benson rather early last year and see how that turned out... On the same view, some reaches for All Day and see how that turned out...
I know which youngsters I want, and I won't be seduced by early success... GG, given the speed at which we are going through the draft, I think we should only go with 1 weekly set sitting at the moment, 2 is a bit much i reckon, especially as you are expecting 4 hours, perhaps Monday this week and in a few weeks we can reassess how we are going and perhaps then institute a second weekly sitting

I'm fine with that, but the reason why I said Mon-Wed is only because it's bound to happen that someone doesnt turn up. If everyone turns up on whichever day it is now (tue?) then we wont need to do wednesday.
4 hrs, 2 mins a pick, we could have about another 9 rounds done.
If we do that once a week and thru the week keep up a good pace, im fine with that.
