Interested in seeing what you guys think Carson Palmer is worth as a trade? If on the table what draft pick / picks would he be worth in your opinions?

I'll PM you manureid.

Wizard...if I were after Palmer, id think a mid-first rounder straight up for him, or some kind of equal value player swap. Like 2 for 1 or 1 for 1 depending on the collective value.

Probably anywhere in the first round, is what I would accept... Still too many questions not only around Palmer, but around the team in general. I would accept 1.12 as quickly as 1.04. Depends on whether you think you can replace him this year.

Trust a couple of Raider fans to pull the trigger and get some action going.

GG gives Manureid: Russell
Manureid gives GG: Henne + Schilens

You are basically hoping Pennington or McNabb fall over because at the moment it appears you will be copping a 0 most weeks at QB unless you do in fact go a QB at #1.

I struggle to envisage a situation where any of Brennan, Ratliff or O'Connell are starting, hmm interesting indeed

dspeed....yeah that's my plight at QB...a lot of back-ups who may or may not move to #1. Pennington is a Parcells love-child so i doubt i see henne take snaps this year. But i DO think brennan realistically WILL claim the starter job mid-year at least....just in time for me to put up more than 0 at qb during our season!

manureid....vince young, just what i need, another back-up qb! send him on down to missy's office haha.

well maybe with all my 10,123 WRs i can package a couple for someone's QB or RB. So Missy's "door" is open to anyone out there who may want to make some offers to me for that kinda thing....your QB and/or RB for 1-2 of my WRs.

Meanwhile, I'll have a "talk" with Missy about how negotiations are supposed to work. Tho i gather she likes it rough.

BTW - No one on my roster is off the table and will seriously look at any real offer (ie something balanced ) and if I think any part of the trade I will offer serious counter offers as a baseline to work around.

The only players definitely OFF the table, and i will NOT enter any trade discussions with are.....Brennan, Carpenter and Steve Johnson.

Id be careful about conducting trades thru the ESPN page, because the keeper deadline isnt far away if you forget to TICK the player you just traded for you will lose him come deadline. And also because current roster limits or max per position may prevent the trade from going thru. Like it did today with me and manureid's trade.

We had to do it offline and i had to go in and cut and add players because ESPN wasnt letting manureid accept russell until he cut 2 players.

imo, do them here thru PM, and when accepted, post the info in this thread, and I'll manually update the rosters and the info will be in the draft thread so it wont go missing.
