Tippett will not be the one dropped. 1 ruckman, 2 ruckmen or a whole team full. He will not be dropped. It'll be Stinklair!

Probably

Will naismith get back?

I'd wrap Naismith in cotton wool until the finals personally. The rucks are meh, but Jacobs will belt whoever is our "ruck". I'd like Towers in there a bit as at least we have a chance of getting the clearance.

If newman is fit and jpk is back selection is interesting

Can cunningham get back in also

Towers may miss finals
I really like Cunningham, Robbo & Laidler too... but who do you drop from yesterdays performance? That's three you are looking for now... I was having difficulty with one depending on Newman's recovery!

Yes, Towers may miss the finals but I wouldn't bet on it based off TV coverage and stats.

Basically undefeated since 0-6

We threw away two wins and only lost by a kick in the 2 losses

No reason we lose another this year

Adelaide are very very good, but our best is better still, we just need to be on
Exactly! Very well said!

For us, a 6th place finish is likely (and a home final) unless we can somehow beat Adelaide on Friday night.

But where's the incentive to finish 4th - we'd only have to travel to Adelaide Oval again for the first final.

Come on down Georgie Hewett, we've got a job for you, on Rory Sloane..

Out: Newman (inj)
In: Kennedy

Even without the injuries it's working for you, a wet show down, then a 6 day break to the concrete surfaced bulldoze-candidate at Docklands, followed by another 6 day break to this game.

Should of got some of the good shit off jobe and the gang to aid recovery

Yeah pretty sure this week was a 'get him completely 100% before the big one' type thing.

Awesome well hope he performs well in the neafl then maybe back v carlton :p

Could you imagine him in the NEAFL? I mean he may not give 100% because it'd be for match conditioning If he ever did play reserves. But if he did play seriously he'd tear the whole comp a new one.

Guess it depends on the balance and if there going small or tall

Crows really only have 1 main ruck so I think we should go with 1 also

If we went with 1 of Sinclair/Tippett you would have to think that Aliir would be a good chance to come in as a better pinch Ruck than Towers.

I'd be more comfortable with Sinclair & Tippett playing.

Sinclair still managed his customary uncontested dropsie yesterday but was otherwise good. I have to give him his credit he is somewhat cementing a spot. He is like Towers for me it's a trust issue for when it counts. Feel he could get better up forward which is a positive. Doubt opposition see him as terribly dangerous which could be his advantage. Tippett and Sinclair had somewhat comparable games combined over the last fortnight. Tippett looked great forward and applied some great tackles where Sinclair seemed a bit more mobile in picking up a few loose possessions and link work. If nothing else would like them both to get another opportunity against quality opposition like Adelaide to see who is going to be the one that gives us an edge.

Horse at the presser was asked about Naismith being available. His answer was we'll see, and that he was competing with Tippett for his position (paraphrasing). No mention of Sinclair at all.
