EB Games\JB Hifi & Game - AFL Live demonstration dates and discussion

I am very pleased to announce an extra demo session... in WA!

The date and time are yet to be confirmed, but it will be within the next 2 weeks

It will be held at my store which is EB Games Midland. Ross is flying over himself for the demo

Once we have a date and time, myself or Ross wil let you know

Due to people going to the Weagles game and playing footy, the session has been extended from 9am until 3pm Saturday April 2nd!

I've pre ordered from EB online which I also did for RLL which I got around 3 days before the official release so I'm hoping the same happens for AFL

You lucky bastard. I say someone should buy a cheapo capture card, and record some gameplay in perth if ross allows it.

Was there until about an hour ago. Fairly quiet when I got there (about 5-8 people around each TV (there were 2 TVs set up thankfully) but as I left it was getting pretty crowded, probably because it was around when people were having a lunch break.

I got to have a red hot crack at the game today at both Swantson st Eb and at gametraders in highpoint.

Absolutely loved the game! Played majority of my games as Essendon but also played as west coast, collingwood and Geelong.

Got killed in my first game but from there on picked up the controls pretty quickly and had a few big wins. In one game Gumby kicked 5 and in another game Neagle slotted 3 beauties!

Went to the rundle mall sesh to start off with andrews flight from sydney was delayed for 2 hours pushing the time back to 4 30 4 30 comes and goas then andrew all fatigued rocks up at 445 and then the staff at eb games take 10 minutes to set up the two ps3 that andrew brought. So up i step as Port and this other fellow cant remember his name and its showdown on the small screen Port with the home jumper and the crows in their white clash aami is packed crows win the toss and we start the crows get a jump early as the control sheet hadnt been put out yet but then it turns hartlett chases down tambling on the wing and kicks long to westhoff who converts port then go on to take control of the game with westhoff dominating up forward 5 goals 3 behinds and with 6 minutes on the clock port lead by 29 points surely port cant lose this adelaide go on a four goal streak with only the clock helping port adelaidee here one second left port by 11 crows goal 1 second surely not the ball bounces and the port fans celebrate

the good things about it is the fluency it was consistent and then the last 4 mins came and it was defensive the injuries were mostly lifelike it had rutten do a hamstring in the second quarter chasing schulz but all up it is a great game and i cant wait til it comes out whenever it does

Good to hear that its a quality game, i think the best part from what I've read so far is that no one hasn't liked the game, it's all been positive feedback which is promising

Has anybody seen the training feature in the game ?

Or can anybody say anything about it or if they get a chance take a video of the training feature.

And can we set a default team ie our favourite team so that when we go quick game or season mode it comes up with that team straight away ?

So I'm now home from Chadstone, I had a few games using Swans, Hawks and the Dees.
The game was very impressive everything flowed really well the ruck contests were done well and it was all down to the timing of your actions.

Goal kicking was one of the most impressive things for me there were some really good goals scored today I remember some guy kicked a beauty banana goal from the boundary.

Also a very big thank to Ross, Andy and the other three guys that were there I had a good chat to everyone and was very glad you guys shared some good insights into the game.

im related to sydney half back Craig Bolton and he retired a few days ago will he still be in the game?
