Havn't yet seen the Peakes boys clearences on the E.D.F.L or W.R.F.L websites, so considering today is the last day maybe the leagues have just been slow to put them up. Also hear Paul Harrison had a meeting with Albion pres and was to be sacked as coach. Anyone in E.D.F.L heard anything?

broadie was dragged because he's the captain and a former afl player and was copping an absolute bath from a 19yo kid, fair enough to the spray from papalia, he was well on top and let him know about, dont see why there is anything wrong with that. How broadie got in the best(clearly he put himself in there) is anyones guess, no influence on the game whatsoever.

also dont think livo got more than 1 touch after 1/4 time.

As another poster said, it's part of the rotation system. But for a 19yo to mouth off the way he did, well you just hope it doesn't come back to bite you on the arse.

Hopefully Marby play Keilor in a final and see what the big mouth has to say at the start of the game, instead of mouthing off when Holland was almost at the bench.

Both brothers are not good enough any more for the Essendon competion.

They will struggle to make the best Greenvale Team as they struggled in last years grand final.
Most the time all they want to do is fight, and there no good at that either.

They might go better in B grade!

They were actually two of the better players in last years Grand Final..admitedly ther form has waned the last year or so but still add a bit to the side.

Albion FC are the one's who are at fault here. They throw everything at the Peakes boys to get them at the start of the year, as soon as it looks like they won't make finals try and cut everyone's PROMISED match payments. Albion FC are the one's who have dishonered the agreement. Why would the Peakes boys stay at a club who turned their back on the agreement half way through?
I bet if both boys were tearing the comp apart Albion FC wouldn't offer to double their payments.
Loyalty works both ways. If clubs want to offer big $$$ and the players train and do all the right things but their performance just isn't up to scartch, then it's just bad luck for the Club.
Unfortunatley with the current enviroment(all players being paid well above what they're worth), these are the circumstances.

Exactly. Clubs that welch on deals can't have it both ways and this is more than contributing to the hyper inflation

Super pickup by Keilor. Skipworth will be far and away the best player in the comp. Is one of those blokes that just dominates at a level below AFL. Have to be favourites now. Have about 7 to come back from a side that knocked off the favourites last week.

If G'vale beat Strathmore this week it will be down to 4

He quite clearly states his point.
Whether you like it or not...the Pekes brothers are two of the tougher players to have played in the comp recently. You also may be right and they may not make much (if any) difference to the Greenvale side but surely that's of no concern to Marby.
Should be a good round of footy, goodluck to all involved.

op 18 17 125 keilor 7 5 45 dominated after the first, run and carry was a real highlight of the game also forward line looking very dangerous on the short quick lead, have to say keilor were a little small down back and just couldnt cope with the options, gleeson and raso killed them inside as well.
didnt hear much out of papalia today... he was given a bath by consadine, may have earnt some respect but you never know... im sure they have a few excuses

Douttas had a great win today by 3 points,it was 6 goals to zip at quarter time,C'burns way so a great fight back,i got there at half time and from what i saw they played quite well and turned around a 16 point deficit at three quarter time to win

And i usually dont chime in on banter and maybe i shouldnt but i will re: Peakes bros,well im not sure how good they are playing at the minute but i think they are very good players and at only around 29 years old they would have atleast a couple of good years left yet in A Grade and regarding fighting of which doesnt have a hell of a lot to do with footy they certainly hold there own dont worry about that,dont know them personaly but would think they would fit nicely into most sides

And like most players at this level they would have there bad points but alot of good ones as well.

What a huge win for the boys today absolutely brilliant Albi killed them again and snagged 5 i think in the end hes a damn star. Were now a game clear in second spot and we have the ladder leaders covered bring on september action

Serious concerns on Barnard and the fitness of his boys last 3 weeks been up or within a goal at half time only to get smashed, yesterday up by 6 goals in second and got done.

Full credit to the Douttas boys they were always goign to get up after Barnard's 3 qtr time address asking his players to stack the back line when they had a 16 point lead

yeah was great win mate not to sure if skipworth played in the 2's though, hartigan was out there aswell as clinnick but i must say i didnt see skipworth, not sure whats going on but isnt he supposed to have a hammy at the moment, he was on the team sheet but im pretty sure he didnt play

wouldnt say we have the ladder leaders covered as yet and we still have three massive games ahead of us and they are all away,if we can get over marby next week would almost garuntee a top two berth so it's a massive game for the both clubs, wouldnt imagine one of either marby or keilor being very happy at going out in the first round of the finals.

we just need to put the heads down and keep to the structures plunks has put in place and make sure we dont get to carried away with some of the results that weve had so far, there will be a buzz around the club now and it's important we put that to good use
