Watched half the game before heading into the city. Westmeadows were very good, while Glenroy were pretty disappointing and looked a pace or two behind the play.

Craigieburn were far from disgraced despite the score blowing out during the game. Very competitive for two 1/4ers and a much more committed effort. West Coburg look very sharp. Quick across the ground and some real size about them. Best team I've seen so far.

3 rounds in what have we learned? West Cob absolutely flying, thrashed all 3 opponents and kicking big scores. Tulla getting the job done but nowhere near as impressively as the Burgers. Should be a big game between the top 2 this weekend. Westmeadows, 2 big wins and a close loss to perennial finalists Taylors Lakes. Are they the real deal??? Hillside and Haddy both look like being ultra competitive especially at home. I can see them causing quite a few upsets this year. Taylors Lakes solid as always, surprise loss to Hillside but will be thereabouts again. Oak Park and Roys were both expected to be top 4 but have started slowly. Oakers maybe relying on too few to do too much. Roys looked pretty slow against westy, need to find their form very quickly. Crazyburn, as big Brian Taylor would say "Wowee" 3 absolute floggings Don't know if they will win a game, really struggling. One thing we have learnt is that for most teams (except WC) there wont be too many easy wins.

They lost by 80 points I reckon that is pretty close to "disgraced"

Not the way they played it wasn't. Westmeadows sure, but yesterday they showed plenty of fight and enough to suggest they'll do it again. I also doubt they'll be the last side to be pumped by West Coburg.
Peter and the coaching panel can not repair 4 years of damage overnight it takes time.Saturday small steps were taken forward on the road to where Craigieburn should be.
I was there and can say C'burn played very well in the first half, WC played them off the park in the second half. They will be a hard team to beat at home...
Eagles just leak goals to easy. Amazingly hit the front early in the 3rd qtr after gordon goaled. were playing very well. Prob had 12 goals kicked against them in 20 min of footy in second half, strangely enough 3qtrs of game was even. But just not good enough against a side like burgers

Obviously the Eagles are going through a transition and it may take a while but can someone tell me why their 2s are on top undefeated? Surely there must be some good players in the 2s? They flogged WC who were the Premiers last year in the 2s. Very strange I reckon. 2s on top 1s on bottom.

Couple of massive games this week and I am not talking about the 2 undefeated teams. Lakes v Oaky is a massive game especially for Oaky. Long way back if they lose and go to 0 & 3. Even bigger game imo is Roys v Crazy, you would think the Roys would win easily but whoever loses could be on the bottom with zero wins. Long way back to make finals if you are 0 & 3 or 0 & 4. Even Westy v Hillside looks a good game with Hillside beating Lakes and Lakes the conqueror of Westy this one might be closer than we think. Hopefully Tulla can push the Burgers or everyone else might be playing for 2nd the way the Burgers have started. Should be a great round of footy.

Watched this game and you are wrong, first half was super competitive but West Coburg flicked a switch and turned it on, can't see anyone beating them at home this year, once they get on the bigger grounds it might be a different situation.

Happens every year at Craigieburn, I am tipping it is not the coaches problem more so an ill disciplined playing group

Why is it there's always talk of unrest or unhappy players when things aren't going as expected? Why is the heat always on the coaches and not the playing groups? Congrats to the Craigieburn boys, had a look at them last round and thought they were ok until the bigger boys at West Coburg wore them down. Keep the ball moving, less contests and those youngsters will improve ok in time

Smelt an upset earlier in the week. Thought they were really good today. Owned the 3rd 1/4er with a dominant display and then were just hard at it in the last. Nick Fletcher's a massive asset when he's on his game.
One result worth noting was, Hillside's over Westmeadows. Look to be a dark horse.
