Let’s do the math....Scanlon and Bongetti 900 each Klix 750 Micaleff and Colette 650 each. So that’s roughly 60k, with more to come. Lyons retiring saves 13k.....it will be a hell of a balancing act....without talking about points.

Micaleff and Colletta were on more than that at Hillside. We’re both asking clubs for 1k + this time last year

EDFL will do f&&& all buddy. Probably already agreed to give them extra points each week to avoid doing anything. It’s already been raised they will play over the points again in 2020 as nothing will happen. Slap on the wrist and league officials will get looked after to admit it’s there fault.

Forget about salary cap what about points.
Just did a quick calculation. Played GF at 47 points. 9 players were more than 1 point players and there were 13 x 1 pointers.
So they will have 9 players that get a one point reduction. That brings the GF team down to 38 points.
Let’s say 5 x 1 pointers come out for these 5 recruits. That points them on 33 points with these 5 to come in.
I have these 5 at 21 points.
= 54 points.
Hope the EDFL have the calculator out before round 4 2020

The best thing about all this is your club missed the big fish in Stewart. He is much more valuable than any of these names.
What would happen if he pops up at Hillside or Airport West? But pretty confident his staying on at Deer Park for another year and then heading to Wallan to finish up. Bad luck EK you missed the biggest one..
I really thought EK would have learned after recruiting Philpott. He won that one with the good sign on..

That decision was a disgrace. Surely Lance is coach of the year. Coached a premiership and won it against a hot favourite in EK. Recruited local talent and payed out a lot less than EK but they got the silverware.
Roxy did well I agree but they were in relegation zone for best part of the season. Strange decision..
True. $1400 a game to play div 2, what are they going to have to pay him if they go to premier div.

Those names were to help Turbo get his 14 premier players.
Knocking on the door you would need 3-4 players in the top 30 premier players.
There lies the challenge for EK.
