Yes I was at the game and saw everything. The senior player was not reported for headbutting like you claim, but for striking. The headbutt came from player no 43 in the East Sunbury Reserves and no, he hasn't been cleared due to the fact that an investigation is pending. Again, get your facts right! Stop Hadfield bashing and start looking in your own backyard

Moudy Taleb back at the Saints...a bit of premier league experience probably won’t go astray. Had a decent old year last year at WC. Not sure how he has gone this year.

Always going to happen goalside. His getting a bit old these days but a very handy pick up in div3 footy. Will dominate the ruck and give the mids an advantage. Still fit enough and plays footy the right way.

Big result for Roxy on the weekend. Couple of the young blokes stood up (Elliot, Cooke, Omogrosso) while the leaders got the job done. The forward line clicked and big Sammy was menacing up forward. Great game of footy with 8 or so lead changes in the fist half before a 5 goal burst put it to bed. Played in good spirits and I'm sure Ricky, Dima and Jusso had a laugh at the banter coming their way over the fence.... they would have been expecting nothing less

Going to watch Saints v East Sunbury on saturday. Hopefully a good game of footy.

Hoping to finish work to get there on time. It should be a cracking game.

Got down on Saturday to watch East take on Burnside Heights and it was a very good showing from East. They had Williams on Covelli and he kept him goalless for the first time all year. Williams looks to have the athleticism to be a seriously good chb. Ive never seen him in that role. Wonder if he will have the role on Ferraro next week?

Bernacki looks an absolute class above (as expected) at this level and I reckon that their midfield brigade have a great balance of hardness, speed, class and endurance to really challenge at the pointy end of the season. Great to see the club continuing to develop kids into great senior footballers. credit where credits due.

didnt make it to the game but listening to the radio in the evening i felt the roxy player and coach were playing down the hype the broadcasters were speaking which i found intresting also not sure i heard correctly but the player was asked if he would play at the club for life found it odd that a question like that would be asked

Played in great spirits but it was the broadcast game which was recorded yes! Anyway good win I agree.

Question: Come finals on the big grounds in dry conditions does any club have the leg speed to go with East Sunbury? Or will experienced bigger bodies with a couple of good forwards be an advantage? Then there’s MV who are probably move even across the ground with McGrath to control things and steer the ship..

Maybe they think his Lance Franklin and trying to sign him up to a long term 8 year contract. Lol

Played in good spirits as our recent games have been. What are you trying to insinuate? Ask Moonee Valley about the spirit... not a broadcast game and played the right way.

For your info just because its a radio game doesn't mean it is recorded. There were no edfl cameras ast the game

Big game. If easts win they firm as favourites, and Saints will battle it out with districts for a finals spot. If Saints win, makes it even more interesting, as it places them back as very real contenders and makes it more difficult for districts to make finals, but the game itself should be a cracker today. Hope the rain stops and it’s a great game at mutton reserve. Given home ground, Saints to take it today.

East Sunbury to lose next 2 away games bringing the top 4 to an even spread. Northern and Roxy too good at home

Hey boo, I’m thinkng this week might be tough on the small mutton reserve but they will definitely fancy themselves to beat Roxy at Roxy. Younger legs will expose them again and I think ES will get over the line. I’m hearing there will be a couple of cameras videotapeing the game next week plus a league representative will be present.

East Sunbury lead the Saints 27-7 at quarter time. From that point the Saints smashed them and ended up 109 point winners. Easily the Saints best performance of the year, East Sunbury really fell away during the physical and feisty second quarter. Rocky Ferraro and Koder Taleb combined for 11.

Almost the most comprehensive win I’ve seen in 3 years by the Saints. Rapt they didn’t play that awful press from both ends. Players looked more at home and really did use the ball well on the outside. Best of luck to young Kelsey who was badly injured trying to take mark of the year. ES people are nice folk. The team will lick it’s wounds and regroup.

Pretty much.

Northern were great from the 2nd 1/4 onwards. Could easily have won by a whole heap more if not for some bad misses. Moody Taleb's going to be a great addition. Not sure who #12 was but thought he was excellent too as was Matty Gray, Ferraro and Kako.

Great to see kids who did Auskick at the club filtering into the senior ranks.

Very enjoyable day back at the Sainters.

Ahmed Abdul-Wahed, been at the club for a few years now and was in the 2013 premiership side. Was very good today.

Why would league reps and video be required? Who's giving you that mail? Based on what precedent?

NS are a good football side, but need to put the game into perspective
ES lost 3 key defenders (hill, Ellis and Williams) by quarter time, another player dislocated his knee cap and another did an ankle and was finished by half time, had no bench by 10 minutes into the second and no rotations.
Saints deserved the win, ES will regroup but have some injuries, that’s just footy guys

... but still 109 points. Still a huge margin with or without injuries.
