Mr Myrtleford, you must be happy, with Aaron Kite clearance being finalised from Glenroy, youd be flag favourites lol lol

yes very happy, although i wouldn't go that far in saying we are flag favs! but more competitive we will!

and yes i am still very bitter (as are alot of people on the way certain things were handled a few years ago) but life goes on! doesn't mean i have to like the N.S either!!

Ironic? Life goes on, move on??

How did Michael Cassinedes play is he the one who used to play for Oak Park or are there 2 different people with the same name.

Any other practice match news?

Moonee Valley beat West Footscray and were missing a few key players apparently

Glenroy got rolled up in Echuca by a couple of goals.

Against Echuca or Echuca United?

If it was against Echuca then that's a top effort because GV League is a top standard. Any word on how big Lance went?

Jacana lost by 3 goals - Intraclub

Stupid comments like this only make you look like a moron. The club is changing for the better, and it doesn't help having to deal with comments like this.

Having said that, congratulations on being a keyboard warrior. As the bloke above me said, good luck if you sai that in person.

You wouldn't have close to half of the heart that the blokes down at Jacana have at the minute...

Word coming out of Hillside is that all is not right with the new coach. The players are worrying that there has been no game plan at training, the coach is very introverted and keeps to himself, does not communicate with players or members of the commitee. When he does communicate it is to pump his own tyres up and remind all that he is Alan Ezard and that he played AFL/VFL. Apparently he also promised the world in getting "big name" recruits to the club and has delivered 3 kids from Hoppers Crossing. Rumour also has it he has been booted from several clubs previous to getting the job at Hillside for these reasons. Could be the breaking of a club with several new players to the club that Ezard did not bring already feeling disenchanted.

Ezard was at Noble Park (EFL) in 2008, & lasted half the season. There was player unrest their as well, so seems to be a recurring thing with players he coaches. Do remember talking to someone at Noble Park & him telling me he was the worst person he had meet in football.

Um kenny, l assume whom ever appointed him would have researched his coaching past??????? Maybe leadership group can work closer with him and try and form a better bond. Oh, and lm not sure he should be communicating with the committee at this stage either. The rest of us have heard good things about your prospects in 2012 so maybe your just trying to under sell yourself lol

lance didnt play. They played echuca united and only had 10 or so senior players available for the trip. I think they have a game this week at home against yarraville possibly. Probably be a better gauge of were there at this weekend. Have they picked up many recruits besides lance and jake piggott?

Big Ryan Connellan from Romsey is suiting up for them

Am I right to think that the be all and end all or the buzz word these days, even at district level football is "gameplan." ??? I spent time at a club where all the young blokes talked about this "gameplan" fair dinkum they couldn't stand where they were asked at two consecutive stoppages so what hope did one have trying to expand on that.

Game plans don't always win flags or provide success. Yes some set things do help but more often than not over 100 odd years of footy, the most dedicated, hardworking, disciplined group of blokes who are prepared to do whatever it takes and whatever is asked of them (as a team) will go further into September than a mere game plan surly to christ ....... unless the game plan involves having a lot more dollars to spend than the the other mob ;)
