Watched APW against Port Colts yesterday, APW had quite a few good players out but did it easily, might have been 8 goals. They will be hard to beat at the pointy end in 2012 !

Westmeadows impressive 12 goal win over Lalor with Singh kicking 7 goals in 3 quarters and Mullen hitting him on the chest time and time again.Could be a side to watch this year with some big bodied midfielders and plenty of outside run and Singh and Ohlsen up forward.

must be on an absolute packet as he doesnt play for peanuts...actually refused to play in a final ( think grand final ) at balranald as he wasnt being paid for finals , like all clubs as far as im aware...

Article in this weeks local paper about the broadmeadows sporting club possibly relocating to jacana reserve... Would be massive for the jacana footy club if it happened... Hopefully local and state governments can find the money

Couldn't see it happening next year... Money hasn't been allocated for it Yet and at the pace local council move wouldn't be surprised if it was 3-5 years away... Article said the whole relocation relies on jacana reserve receiving a major upgrade... Could be exciting times ahead for the JFC though

Apparently KP has told the players they can be released if they pay out their contracts, but the EDFL has said that doing this is not in the spirit of the game and will not allow this to happen. Surely holding a number of players out of footy for a year is not in the spirit of the game?
Yes its true juniors are in trouble... juniors were meant to play east sunbury this coming sunday but jacana pulled the pin saying they only had 20 kids ready to play from u10s through to u14s. east sunbury have now got a u14s game V's tulla instead now and that's all.
Hadfield u18s smashed east sunbury u18s.... 16 goals to 1goal ????

Is it in the spirit of the game to sign a contract and walk out on it?? I see this alot on this board, this club is poor because they won't release players from a contract.. Where is the duty of care on the player? He signed a contract. Good on KP for standing their ground.
