Completely different scenario, not talking team head 2 heads im talking about full strength rep sides. Irrelvant comparing teams especially in practice matches and for the record didn't crazy almost get relegated that year and romsey win it!

Maybe need an opinion of someone who has either played or wathced a lot of both leagues, but my initial thought is like i I stated before the quality bigs of the edfl, u could potentially have j.cloke at chb with dulic and young off half back, with a fwd line containing c.cloke, winter, kite! Would the rdfl have the depth of bigs to cover these blokes?
Ok that's fair enough. You're right that is a different scenario but I still think it's close.

I watch plenty of both. Some good names in both leagues. Maybe slightly different styles at times too with some of the RDFL grounds being large country grounds. I think RDFL talls maybe slightly behind and some of them not the big names like the Clokes. Marcus Kenny went ok this year but against the good sides didn't monster anyone.

Starting 35?? Fair enough each to there own mate that is what this forum is about I wont go into it but very interesting comment especially from you.

You're a gun and you know I think you are.

I was challenging Turbo's comment and just stating where we're at - the list we've built and retained and focus on our kids.

Cubillo, Lynch, Patak, McLean, Blackwell, Cattapan x 2, Rush, Moylan, Z. Hislop, Langwell, Phillips, Carboni, Vassal, Barrett x 2, Kennedy, Jackson, Binns etc. are our mids.

No offence intended and all the best for the year ahead mate.

Heard a rumour Brock not happy with missed delivery of what was promised and has spoken to an NFL club who may need a replacement for a suspended former bomber.

Only practice matches but practice match results over the years have generally gone to RDFL sides. Romsey beat Craigieburn by squillions in 2014 even if it was a different side to today's Craigieburn. At the very least that shows it's very close.

Another way to look at it is comparing players who have played in both leagues. Someone like Ryan Pretty from Tulla has almost identical stats in both leagues. I'm sure there is other examples.
It was a 5-6 goal margin that day and romsey from memory went undefeated in the rdfl and won the flag craigieburn won 2 games in edfl div 1 mate, was most likely romseys closest win for the year. Ive seen a stack of both leagues over many years and there is no real comparison, but must admit the rdfl is improving a hell of a lot every year

No Laurie? Has he moved on? Travelling? He surely rates a mention in that list.

That is a fair HB line and forward line mate. Like it
