I agree with comments the edfl & the appeals tribunal has been made to look silly over the Young incident. I seen the incident on the eds Facebook and won't comment on what I thought, other than to say if this is now the standard for a 1 week suspension then that's a joke.

That's great to hear for the kids mel. But too many of them have been burnt. Not fair in my opinion.

How have they been burnt?. Kids have had fantastic opportunity all season to play senior football even getting games ahead of others due to being younger and a couple will still be in the side on sunday which is great, like everyone they should be picked on form not gifted games especially in a big final.

It's a 4 week suspension with 3 weeks suspended giving us a 1 week penalty....

It shouldn't be suspended. That's a joke. They do this every year. The EDFL are just a rabble ATM. They should appeal the decision and try get the 4 week decision reinstated. That's the best outcome for the league.

I reckon severely under rating fletch he has missed games and still top 5 in comp goals. The boy can seriously play saw him kick 8 in premier as a 16 year old

Spot on the kids that r playing in the ones on Sunday have earned there spots the ones that have missed out there form is not good enough to get a game

No doubt his dangerous,but it's not ideal coming into a prelim after missing 3 or 4 you would have to be a little underdone

I'm a neutral observer here boys, but just find it difficult to understand how an appeal can reduce a suspension of any kind, from 4 down to 1. Seems a bit odd to me.
I did hear on Sunday that Shylo's face was a bit swollen and sore, so it did connect.

Well if said player had a swollen n sore face on Sunday why take a picture of a lump on the back of your head n present that to both Tribunal sittings.... Seems abit odd to me... Unlike the EDFL tribunal the Appeals board didn't accept the picture anyways as it wasn't dated and detailed correctly....
