Without naming any names, can you give us a bit of a summary of what occurred? I'm not looking to shame anyone, especially those that are younger players but it seems like a pretty serious incident from what has been said on here so far?

Didn't a similar thing happen at the same clubs under 18s only 2-3 years ago. I think enough is enough of this type of behaviour. It's disgusting..

Yes it is disgusting. Club has sent kid packing, from what I've been told kid was told immediately after his stupid actions he would never play at club again. Club tried to do the right thing by the kid I hear and the kid relayed them in that fashion!!!!
Only serves to hurt others at the club. Kid deserved everything he got, glad he will never wear the jumper again.

Kid lost it. Apparently he told the club he was racially vilified and things said about his mother, which set him off. No excuse for his actions and club told him that is not the way to deal with that stuff, kid thought he knew better! Only serves tonhimself, the club and his teammates. Good riddance!

I think the league should identify all reported players from the ages of 15 up. You do the crime you pay the price.

Goalside, I see 2 x 10 weeks suspensions. Was this the same player or 2 different incidents. How is the kid who was on the other end of the strike & kicking incident as that's probably the most important thing here!!

Same kid I understand. Yes there should be a register of kids who offend and clubs should be advised of these kids before they come to your club seeking to play.

I don't think his actions caused any injuries as his team mates were trying to stop him bar one 1 understand. I saw much worse at a U19's game on ANZAC Day, still no excuse for any of his actions.

Yeah that Anzac Day incident appears to have been swept under the carpet by the league.

What happened Anzac Day ?

Not sure I even believe that

kid was trying to start trouble throughout the game

He's just another aggressive idiot who thinks he's 10 men

can give it but can't take it

If all three reports are for the same kid then he's out for 23 week that's the best part of 2 seasons also well over the allowable maximum of 16 weeks suspension over your whole career it looks like this kid is done with the game. I am not condoning what this young man did with out knowing what happened or the kid concerned but what a shame really that he choose to go down that path.I hate to see this happen the game as a whole can not afford to lose young players and have violence like this at our games. Its hard enough to attract and keep u19 players as it is,
I hope the other young bloke is ok and also not lost to the game.

Yes you make a point, but he should have realised what his actions would have brought. There are consequences for this stuff, now he needs pay. Club warned him not to step out of line I'm told. His done. all Move on.

Good on NS for taking a tough stance its a tough lesson to have to learn at a young age but a necessary one by the sound of it

if true should not have been allowed back at all
then post above says yousuf taleb trained Tuesday if this is sharka then nth saints are mad if they take him back
will be like two years ago very quickly talk about one step forward three steps back

Apparently served his suspension from the club. Got a second chance hoping he had matured. A number of higher profile people were prepared to give him that chance and he was warned. Yes also heard a few disagreed with it. But that will always happen. There is no doubt now, club has done the right thing by all even the kid. People will always disagree, but I think club did the right thing, now it's done, albeit disappointing. Kid can't complain he wasn't given a go, but the I told you so brigade will always be right.

Goalside I like reading your posts and you seem like a very honest person. But I must say one thing, some people don't deserve a second chance mate. Im the opposite, If you stuff up once you get told to leave and never come back ever. And you do the right thing and tell other clubs what this person is like.
From my understanding your club was moving in the right direction but this incident sets you back and gives you a bad name again. Yes it must be frustrating but to go forward you need to stay strong to your beliefs and not let people like this back through the back door..

He was at the club tonight as well.. I couldn't believe it

Some people have no shame

Now that all teams have played each other bar jacana v ES What are everyone's thoughts on ladder positions? Playing all teams three times and one team 4 times will make for some interesting results especially the roxy, NS, MV battle for ladder positions come the end of the season in my opinion.

Fair comment Foss. I can't see top 2 changing at all. It will be a fight for top spot between Districts & Jacana. The next 6 games are gonna hurt Roxy with 8 of there key players in Europe.

Ash Flavel will no doubt go straight into the seniors next week at Districts, after kicking 5 in the reserves. His presence will be what Districts are looking for up forward. But how will they go with there points?

Yes being level with NS and MV These Next 6 weeks may play a massive part in shaping the ladder.
How many points is flavel worth? I agree surely points now become an issue going forward.

Just looked it up

This week they were at the maximum 48 points

So to bring him in they would have to drop a player of equal points ???

Flavel won't get in in my opinion, Coach has told him he will have to do the time and hope someone of equal value falls over . His only hope is if someone gets injured or a couple of 3 pointers go down .

I'm guessing he is at least a 4 pointer anyway. 3 points for changing clubs then 1 point for more then 2 clubs in 2 years. Then it's wheather they slap and extra point on for swapping clubs in the same league
