Harley Ryan not at Glenroy, signed with the Werribee in the VFL.

Don't know much about Glenroy but Robbie Powell will not make the difference between a poor side and a great side. Willl take a good side better though. More of a finisher off of other peoples work, will not get the ball himself, needs to be feed but can be damaging. Oridnary bloke.

Thats a fair assessment of a bloke/player! Whats he like as a clubman?

Oridinary bloke.......what does that mean Dwight?

They have had a few leave, don't think it is 16 though. Some of the departures are, Flavell, Bonnicci, Caruso, Wittmar, Philpott, by name with a few others reportedly gone. Have recruited a reasonable number, no big names apart from Shaun Smith, who will be 37 this year.

They are struggling big time and can't even make a senior side, let alone a reserve side.

well litlle man, not only was i there that day, i happened to be playing in the game, and when your 7 points down at 3/4 time and 20 seconds into the last quarter your coach yells out from the sidelines to start smashing blokes in the head and you lose by 10 goals cause the kids without talent listened to him, then the kids who could play aint gonna hang around then are they. but if you call that commendable, good job.
but i do agree its not one persons fault, there were big problems there already, but that incident was the final straw for me.
was only mucking around bout asking how casey is going, still friends with him despite what happened, geniune nice bloke normally, but was a disgrace what he done that day at westmeadows representing the club, should of taking care of his problem that day somewhere else

as for the best 5 players, dont know much bout b grade, but winter has to be number 1 in a grade, complete package. good to see mark budge in that list, most underated player in edfl by country mile, his a dead set gun

Were u at the Westmeadows game? It's pretty hard to take careof your problem somewhere else, when the problem is there in your face swinging punches. Once again Jacana get the blame with Casey gettin suspended 4 the year. While the two Westmeadows blokes get 2 weeks (one of them left the field to king hit)

Just disappointing that a club you have played for your whole life is going down the ********er because blokes ae walking out. When i was there playing junior there we had a great side and plays that i played with start to leave and chase money. Leigh O'Neal, Danny Campbell, Todd Courts and now Ash Craig. It disappoints me that these plays have left the footy club..because if they were still here then we would be grouse. I guess i stick it out at the club and hopefully one day all these blokes come back.....

Im glad I'm not an EDFL commentator! That would be a mouthful.
Looks a good team on paper. The Marby one put up earlier looks equilly impressive.

Im assuming you doing a A and B teams or just one?

Here are my REP teams if we were to play another league again. Again, you can read the above criteria's. Its the Best of the Best.
I have put time into this so others can debate in a positive manner and no abuse my choices in any personal manner.

I am more than happy to respond to questions. It has been extremely tough and many good players have missed out.
A GRADE;
B- John TATE , Ben GOGGINS , Richard LITTLE
HB- Steve PAXMAN , Mark BUDGE , Cam TREWIN
C- Lee FRASER , Joey MISITI , Micheal O'BRIAN
HF- Tim HARVEY , Adam WINTER , Luke WILLIAMS
F- Anthony ALOI , Simon.M/CONNELL , Shaun SMITH
R- Miles QUINN , Leigh OWEN , Rick MARCY

INT- Grant HOLMAN, Sam TANKARD, Paul BARNARD, Paul HUDSON
Brendon HEIR, John LINDSEY, Anth IBRAHIM, Shane SHEPPARD

B GRADE;
B- Sam TAYLOR , Dean CHAKLEY , Colin LAURIE
HB- Paul GREEHMAN , Athos HYROUSOLAKIS , Micheal MARTIN
C- Mark DEAGHAN , Justin MURPHY , Mace GREEN
HF- Dave WESTON , Ty ZANTUCK , Nathan ZERAFA
F- Ash FLAVEL , Adam DALTON , Marcus PAPPA
R- Andrew GARBUTT , Rabee HAOUCHER , Robert POWELL

INT- Marcus BARCLAY, Peter ZOUZOUNIS, Allen NASH, Ben DOLLMAN,
Liam TURNER, John BELL, Age LUVARA, Sam VASSILOPOULIS

(Did not include Leigh O'NEILL - Westy or Trav MICKLEWAITE- W.C as there is too much uncertainty whether they have both left Oakers, etc.

COACHES - Craig Hille and Peter Zouzounis. Plane and simply the most successful in 2005 from both Divisions.

Look forward to others. All I can say is HOW GOOD IS THE EDFL TRAVELLING!!!!

Mate unfortunately I dont know enough about all the teams to question your sides but I commend you in having a go. Good to see a few West players in there! :)

CRITERIA-

* It is a Rep side, NOT a past team of the Year.
* Assume they are all fit and firing.
* Do not have to include all clubs.
* Have a bench of 8 for Depth and increase in discussion.
* Extra comments are handy.
* Players that played in 2005, but have gone to other leagues or retired CAN'T be used.
(Eg. Chris Robertson (Lalor), John Rousakis (retired)

These above seem like good criteria's.

Cheers mate. It's pretty tough and will always cop rapts or critisism.

Sam Taylor played last year at T.Lakes, 2004 at O.Park. Most carrer for St Bernard's Seniors - Fast, explosive, running backman, beautiful kick and very attacking.

Dean Chakley - Glenroy 2005. Been one of best F.Back/CHB in WRFL A Division over nearly a decade before that.

Paul Greehman - Ex Richmond. Been a very good Amatuer player for St Kevins over past few years. Big rapts on him.

Mace Green - Very injured last year and a key to PACO's success in 2004 whilst he was still on Calder's list. Runs like the wind and tall.

Sam Vass - W.Cob junior who has been a W.Preston A Grade DVFL over past few years. Versatile, fast, big leap and well drilled. Was seen on 'Almost Footy Legends' last year taking a screamer.

Yep now that u described them remember a couple of them straight away. U put loafy in your A grade team does this mean he has decided to have a kick this year. Seen abers training 2nite look like poor numbers, mostly young guys

Can't sleep My North. Loafy will play for sure. Abers will boast a Forward line of Loafy, Paul Hudson, Al Faraj (ex Jacana, Abers & Coburg) and Shane Sheppard. AWESOME.
