Scott Dann and Keiron Prowse on board at Keilor. Both quality players who would fight it out for the B&F.

Glenn Sullivan has also committed to the club and from what we see on the track The Strasbourg is definately flying. Glad we were able to talk him out of signing for a packet down at Sydneham.

Is Scott Dann from the VAFA.

Wasn't he rumoured to be going back to Trinity this year?

Saw on the clearances that Ake Fonua is heading to Craigieburn???

Dont spend up big on players from outside??? he was on a packet at Hoppers, and l would strongly suggest aint going to Craigieburn for nothing less than $500 a game plus extras. he has had 5 clubs in 5 years and has earnt big coin at every one and left the year after. struggled for 90% of the 2007 year but when he did play well, he showed he is a good player.

ps. Hope he had that shoulder fixed, cos it will pop out every week otherwise and good luck with mum..........very colourful!!!! And he doesn't train very often. if you get him once a week you have done well

 Geez tell us what you really think about Ake?

I heard Shaun Towner and Jimmy Condos have had a falling out over who can use the most linament to show off their considerable biceps. Too many roosters in the hen house down at Old Essendon Grammar.

I also heard Adam Edwards and Bluey Callahan's considerable wages are being paid by the new sponsor of the club, I think it was Advanced Hair...

You should have stuck to your word because you really do struggle with the concept of humour.

This will be my last post on Big Footy.

Innandunder in all your previous posts you seem to be anti-Keilor and in particular you direct criticism toward myself.

However, in this post you are defending Keilor and even suggest that you are involved somehow with the club. If you truely are a Keilor person then you should know me well and should feel free to approach me to discuss whatever feelings of resentment that you have toward me and/or the club.

Hey General i spotted the boys from Douttas training last week and they are looking pretty fit. Saw some heads i haven't seen around Buckley park before and a few of considerable size.

Any news on signings for us?

I love your work Bluey BUT...... One problem, Rarbi Houcher winning the A grade medal. It seems that poor Rarbi signed a two year deal with West Coburg last year. So the ball is in the saints court unfortunately. Apparently Rarbi has told West Coburg that unless they clear him to Marby he will sit out the year. Massive blow for Marby. Unless of course Allison pays them off too. Wouldn't surprise me, although it would be a shame too see Rarbi miss a year of football.

Surely he wouldn't sit out a year. What is it with these guys? Are they not smart enough to understand that they are signing an agreement to be payed for their football services under the rules and regulations of the EDFL.

If he didn't think he would be able to stick it out with the Burgers for 2 years you would only sign for the 1 year!!!!!!!!!

I believe he had all intentions on playing there for two years, but had a falling out with the coach. It happens i suppose lesson learned boys only sign for one year.

I congratulate their club signing a major sponsor like Advanced hair and dont blame those guys in taking advantage of the same deals offered to the likes of Gooch, Mathews , Warne , Ponting and of course Newton .Apparently Bert will be hosting the luncheon at Windy Hill before the OEG -ST Bernards game I will book you a spot on our table asyou would agree going on your previous seasons you will either be suspended or injured.

All this talk about Glen Allison buying every player he can get his hands on , but can the bloke actually coach a football side , or is it his money rather than coaching accredibility that won last years flag ???? Would love to hear peoples thoughts .

Watched W\town V Bullants on the weekend and have come to the conclusion that Clinnick from Keilor could easily hold down a key forwards role in the VFL . Hes mobile, good overhead, highly skilled, a great kick and is diciplined .Would be a great pick up for any VFL side .Any thoughts ?

I dunno about Allison but if that's your line of thought can you put the coaches of Strathmore & Greenvale in the same category?

You were watching the reserve's playing right?

Steve Macpherson coached a vfl team and the other two only get the coaching jobs because they bring about 100K to the table. I dont think the three are in the same category.

you are an absolute knob.

MacPherson played 180 games of AFL football, Coached at VFL level.

Hille puts in home extentions.

Allison freight fowarding.

your stupidity astounds me.

please don't embarrass yourself with stupid uninformed posts like that again.

Didnt Hille also play at VFL Level ?? Box Hill ?? Might have also had some role as an assistant, not quite Mac Phersons experience, but certainly beats calculating freight rates !!!

Hille's local footy playing record speaks for itself, as does MacPherson's VFL career. Both similiar players in terms of their unrelenting attack on the ball.

Surely you must have some coaching ability to take a side to three grand finals in in a row, including a flag where no one gave you a chance of winning.

Wouldn't write home about MacPhersons VFL coaching career. Has done an excellent job with Greenvale.

Take a chill pill Pinorcle..........It was a question not a statement. The common thread between the 3 clubs is their ability to attract a lot of quality players with big bundles of dough..........at the moment.

fair enough hille must have ability to coach as you said they have got to 3 finals.
it's 1 all for these two coaches in Grand finals so this year might be the decider.

not sure who didnt give them a chance. they spent the most money in their first flag but had an awful year. they just pulled it out at the end. at the start of that year GV and SM odds would have been neck and neck, and it was only knee injuries to bloomfield (clearly the best player in the comp that year) and garbutt that slowed GV down.

im not sure how you can call someone who was a champ edfl player in the same ability of someone who was an afl vice captain, and would have been captain but for a shoulder reco. Macpherson coached a vfl team and hille seems to be getting praise for coaching the SM under 14's to runners up in 1998. it just seem stupid.

isnt hilles idea of coaching to throw clip boards at players and then grab them and almost assault them e.g craig ednie. and i saw him go balistic at winter in a practice match once. it seems to me that it is clinnick that makes the moves at SM and not necessarily hille. however hille has many good attributes like a passion for his club, a junior career at SM and he puts his money where his mouth is.

as for allison, ill leave the critisism to the rest of you.

I didnt intend to create world war four on this post , I repect what Macpherson has done with Greenvale coaching and his AFL career , but last time I saw Allison he was President or CEO of Coburg ,went to Greenvale and now seems to have a reputation as a gun coach after winning a B grade flag . [ But thats one more than I will ever win ] Cheers for your thoughts:rolleyes:
