My Tips

Avondale Heights vs Doutta Stars - Doutta were lucky and caught craigeburn unawares last week, craigeburn did not play well and you have to play well everyweek this season or you can get done

Craigeburn vs Greenvale - Just a bit too good

Oak Park vs Maribyrnong Park - A bit of a unknown, think marbi might bounce back

Keilor vs West Coburg - First win for the Blues

Strathmore vs Aberfeldie - Too expereienced with big matches and will beat abers comfortably

Douttas did not play well, obviously you were not there!! Craigeburn had just about there best team on the park and Douttas didnt and still beat them. What does caught unawares mean, did they have blind folds on???

West Coburg will win easy and you can go on living on past memories, loser!!!

By the way everyweek is actually 2 words and expereienced has only 4 e's in it!!!

It's like any tribunal and set penalty offer. If you don't take the penalty then unless you have evidence (as in VIDEO) or a damm good defence team then you always run the risk of getting more weeks.

EDFL committee man made the comment champ - FACT

If you don't take 2 you are guaranteed more - ?????

No sense in that!!!

What a team. I cant wait to see the actual line up.
I would have P.O'neal in the backline rather than Jacobs though?

great side.
will this side every play? i don't think so.
captain/vice????

Greenvale knocked over Craigieburn by 10 goals. Greenvale's midfield was all class and Craigieburn struggled up forward for a decent target. Today was the first time iv'e seen Caddy play. Not sure what all the fuss is about him, he didn't impress me.

Westmeadows beat Keilor Park by about 8 goals. Pretty good game to watch. Very physical with some very good ball movement by both teams at various stages. In the end it came down to the run that Westmeadows were able generate around the ground and through the mid field. KP smashed Westmeadows early in the middle. Silky can only do so much by himself. He had very little support. Very good team effort from the Tigers. Nath Vallentine kicking 8 after half time doesn't hurt

Jacana 2.4.16 Thrashed by the Northerners 48.14.302 .

Marby win today was one of the best ever!!

29 points down at quarter time
34 points down at half time
35 points down at three quarter time
win by 4 points at full time, last quarter of 7 goals 6 behinds to 1 goal 3

top effort

There was questions ask of the score during the last quarter, scoreboard was incorrect for most of the last quarter. maybe it was all those shots Marby had at goal. Marby bench knew the correct socre during the game, not sure what Oak Park team knew of it.

Go Marby

whoever number 2 is for west coburg...he kicked Trav Moloney for keilor towards the end of the 2nd quarter....im sure he wont be reported though....

Reserved my judgement about Abers until today's game. Great effort - think we might be up there now. Once again fitness and pace helped win the game. Big preseason under Moran is starting to pay dividends. McKee doing well now fitter. Pleased for Shep, after carrying us last year, has support around him. Played well again.
Funny moment though when a couple Strathmore supporters near me in the last quarter complained about how much money did Abers spend to get this current team. Cashmore?

i think ull find that sydenham didnt get pumped they lost by 15 pointsin a much better efffort, looks like sumone hasnt put the scores up for them.as for northern saints great effort on getting the big score and a good win but even better effort for the jacana boyz sticking it out together.as much as they are getting pumped no one should bag any of the jacana players as dont think there is many people brave enough to do what they do week in week out

How could you not clap. What a grab, turned the match, Abers were in trouble until then.

Someone get it on Almost Footy Legends, think Carl got on top of the goal post!

Great win to abers again yesterday. Full credit to Snake and the rest of the coaching staff down there they are doing a great job. Justin Moran's fitness deserves a huge rap, the boys just never stopped running.

I think i said Oakers would run marby off their feet, but marby would end up winning...thats why im prophetic i guess.

Cheerio to the chariman of selectors down at Cashmore as well, he must be secretly happy.

Let's just hope some of the strati players dont start blaming their coach cos that would be unfair ;)

That has been the one thing that I have admired most about Aberfeldie. They have never stopped running and have run over teams in the last quarter.

A great win! Probably the best win I have seen since My heroics as a junior. Carl Petersons mark was phenomenal. He jumped over the goal post. There wasnt a player on that team who didnt contribute. A real team effort!!

Football club located just north of Melbourne require the services of a Full Forward ASAP..... Good coin up for grabs, good football standard! Open to any player

PM me for more information

Pat O'Brien played well. Was good in the last quarter with a chase tackle and smother that set up a goal. Finally got to see why the guys from Abers are on here spruiking so much, played very well. Greenvale bt Strathmore by a similar margin so should be good when Abers play Greenvale.
