Gettin on board with all the new players and hype,

thought I might follow their fortunes a little closer in 2006

Dont tell me you're jumping on the Marby bandwagon, how are you going to follow their fortunes. Go and watch like a loyal supporter or follow em in the papers.
I'll be interested to see when the season begins which teams people in these forums follow, all the stuff gettin thrown around last few months means nothing come round one.
Take Strathmore out of the equation, who look like being the measuring stick, i reckon this season (both A & B) could be the most competitive in years.
Cant wait to hear what this forum throws up after round one.

Someone mentioned earlier about praccy games, be interested to hear who is palying who and the results......!

JAMA what makes you think that APW will finish so high after missing the finals last year???

Moonee Valley for 5th position in B grade. Not many would rate them with but they build up and be strong again

I think is it generally accepted that their young players are of some quality. They have had a good couple of years from the 18's.

I think it was this inxperience that stopped them from taking the next step.

include Sense, Barclay, Martin, Castello and a few others and it might just be the influence they need to take the next step.

Not sure if pappa will have the influence as expected.

Tullamarine havent picked up any key players to date and will struggle again this year, Rooney promised them so much and they are very dissapointed with his efforts the rumour is. As for Pascoe vale they might be the surpise packet but l dont hink so, l rate Glenroy and westy before them, only my opinion tho!

Good to see that your club is working on getting former juniors back there mate. Thats pretty hard to do with clubs that have struggled recently and my club is one of those as well. Who is the former skipper and sydenham boy??????

brad is the former captain of the juniors and 18s i believe also won a premiership during his years as a junior captain. looks like he can play.. has a solid body and a deceiving height just needs a proper preseason but i can imagine will have some sort of impact.

forgotten the blokes name from sydenham but has good size and height and was another past junior player.

like you said it is good for the club to get these players back to the club, especially when things are not going so well.

Fair point Ears, my thought were only based on a chat I had with a tullamarine stallwart earlier this week, thought they be around the mark.

There are huge rapts on Pappa, havent seen him play but from all sources he is the real deal? APW will be strong this year without a doubt, they have a great coach you knows whats his doing and has the total support of his players. The younger players there will be the key in my mind during the season, then there big guns such as Barclay, Martin etc will come to the fore in the finals and they will be threat.

i heard tulla had picked up some good players and its sort of gone under the radar??? my sources say that there is between 6-10 players picked up for season 2006 all with football ability.. also says tulla to make the 5.

Did watch a bit of training last night JAMA but about 15 kms from APW.Like I said you are on the wrong tram. I do think APW will play a big part in the B grade comp this season as will Glenroy and Pacco. Marby. and West Coburg appear top 2 at this stage.
