Will be a great addition for the eagles this season, especially later in the year when he gets a few games under his belt.
Not sure of the reason for the departure, was under contract last season.

Thought he killed you guys, set up at least 3 or 4 more then the 4 he kicked.
Gamble was by far the best player for Pacco on the weekend.
Not sure of your thoughts JAMA, but i'd still like to see him playing at CHB in that side, especially with the likes of Meacham, O'Meara and Baird all up forward.
He is a gun defender!!
Great win by Pacco on the weekend, APW a bit stiff with Martin, Pappa, Bruno, Twelftree and McCallister all going down early, but to Pacco's credit they turned around some indifferent form from the last few weeks.

Very true litening. However, I wouldn't be to disheartened about Airport West's chances this year, Saturday was a big test for our guys and even though we didn't win I think we passed with flying colours. With the injuries that APW had the young guys that we have in the team could have been excused for dropping their heads and allowing Pascoe Vale to run all over them but to the credit of kids like Patty O'Brien, Brendan Godden, Steve Rizzo, they really stood up when they needed to.

I think the PACCO coach played him in the perfect position. My thoughts on the lack of big bodies at APW is well known, think he would have been wasted down back, might even had been a liability, trying to play on the small forwards ??. By throwing him forward he had the desired effect of stretching the APW backs.

I heard a few Strathmore supporters got involved. Apparently Winter had a crack at one of the Keilor Trainers on the boundry line later in the game. Does anyone know if the EDFL have asked for an explanation?

why bother if the edfl allow there people get involved in junior games by running into a mallee and find parent guilty and hand out severe reprimand what does that tell you oh thats right its cahmore

Lance thought he would be tough and go around snotting everyone, his moron brother then thought it was best if he didn't worry about the footy and go the man instead.
After Doering slotted one in front of the adoring fans in the pocket, Lance the tough guy through a couple and then it was on. Spilled across boundary line, but none of the crowd were involved, except for hurling abuse at the red, white and blue, giving special attention to the bald brothers.
Jordan kicked another three for the term! GAME OVER
Then possibly the toughest player in the comp, Cain Mainsbridge thought he would whack the Mores smallest player, he then got bashed and didn't get near it!

I heard that there was 5 reports including Lance.
Was just looking at the ladder for A Grade and it looks like atleast 5 teams will be competing for the 3rd and 4th spots.Doutta are 3rd but have a shocking percentage and then Keilor,C'Burn,W.Coburg and A.Heights all on 3 and 3.And i guess even Oak Park wouldnt count themselves out of a potential top 4 finish.
Obviously its much better then last year where there was a 2 or 3 game gap between 4th and 5th but on the other hand can anyone see a team beating Strathmore or Greenvale other then each other if that makes sense So i guess this early on in the seaon is it a forgone conclusion that Strathmore and GV will play off in the granny and the other teams are just making up the numbers and there will be more interest who gets relegated then who wins the GF???
Dont Stathmore and GV ply each other twice soon?These games could ultimatley show who will win the flag in my opinion.Then again you dont have to be a rocket scientist to determin that

Just ask Localfooty his opinion, lm sure he will inform you. Apparently he has more A grade flags than l could dream about.
Wasn't looking at playing in season 07, APW spoke to me and a deal was done.
No hard feelings with my junior club WC left on good terms, played there since the age of seven and have two senior flags to my name.
People can have an opinion on where l play my footy, bottom line lm happy with what l have achieved in footy which is more than some can say.
Looking forward to new challenges and just maybe l might just have something to offer another club.

Waxy, heard a rumour with the wet conditions predicted this week Douttas are gonna play a few...lets say..."hard at the man" players, two brothers new to the club that are something out of the movie "Slapshot" to test the Winters, Mays, Holmans etc....skill level when the balls to be got on the ground...gonna have to give the two blues a miss this week and come along to ringside...how whacko are these two...and can they at least play a little....

Keilor embarassed themselves and their club with their performance in the 1st Q. Like a flash back from my youth, they just went the bash. Obviously inspired by their dud coach it worked a treat and they were out of the game at Quarter time.
And no Nemo I was not near the hill ferals, I like to be nearer to the beer tent these days.

AAAAAAHHHHHH this is a great day in Big Footy history, EDFL Man is back on the airwaves.
The Eagles are looking forward to you coming on board, good feedback from all the players which is a great start - however, if you could just get your arse to training we'll be a little bit more excited......
