Played 31 games for Deer Park according to playhq. Doesn’t qualify for 1 point, unless I am missing something?

So playing at the Jets plus crossing to a team in the same comp, makes him a 5.

Don’t think player hq is that accurate mate, doesn’t show the games my son played at his junior club accurately

Yep I forgot playing on 44 points means plenty of juniors. Won't put money into getting a thirds side, what a club

I’m pretty sure I said there’s enough evidence to suggest that McGuane will play them if they’re good enough. I don’t think he’s in the game of gifting games to satisfy some outsiders

See I disagree as a great example was Ben Bozinovski who left Keilor to go to APW for more opportunities. He was a talented junior and in the leadership group at Calder Cannons. Didn’t get opportunities.
I believe Cooper-McKenzie George is good enough to play senior footy as well. Strong bodied player who won reserves B&F last year but hardly got any opportunities this year.

One would think McGuane would push them up and develop them rather than recruit others that take their spots potentially. But rather than develop they do tend to focus on premierships and buying who they need. Could save a lot of $$ by developing their own. They just take other clubs better junior players from neighbouring clubs to weaken the neighbours junior programs and competition within the area.

Still has to play a minimum of 40 games over 3 seasons to qualify for 1 point.

Even on the old Game Day Competitions website it has him at Burnside in 2016 and Keilor in 2019. Which only allows for him to be at Deer Park from 2017-2018. Unless you are saying this is incorrect?

Maybe the points system needs a revamp where you need x amount of 1 point players say 15 or 16 and who cares about the other 5 or 6 players what their points are

It's pretty odd for a 20 year who wins he's club and league bnf not get a game in the seniors

Am I missing something here. Keilor played with 39 points of a possible 46 points on GF day. Everyone bangs on about Pascoe Vale and their program and they played at 46 points of a possibly 46 points.

Of that 39 points Keilor played Ruben Williams was 7 points. So anyone suggesting Keilor not playing kids or have players staying loyal to the club are just delusional.

Doesn’t matter how Keilor doing it , every club has same opportunities if they do the hard work. Keilor will recruit again and normally get it right because they are smart with their recruitment and don’t just take anyone and throw big dollars at them.

I think a few clubs are on the right track but it takes time. Keilor have only won 2 premierships in a row so it’s hardly a mortgage on the competition. They built this from 5-6 years of hard work and now seeing benefits.
