I wonder if the EDFL will release a statement with their findings of the AH situation or if they are hoping the public will forget .Surely they would have answers to what happened by now. Either they had permission or they did not.

Potato you will get 0 response mate. Sorry but they are to busy drinking coffees and having long lunches..😄

They will soon silence you on here as your becoming another Turbo. 😎😎

Can you bang one from 50 onto the roof of EDFL offices to wake them up mate. I’m happy to supply the sherrin.
I will have Breaking News in the next couple of days that will rock a few socks off,,,, But in general the comp is stale.. Abers/Keilor , Keilor/Abers …. throw in Gvale every couple of years...
WRFL, although DP have won the last 6 flags generates interest, feeling and angst about it!!!

I hear Hardingham has been appointed for next year officially at DS.... Interesting as there's mixed messages coming out of DS, in particular they are crying out for someone who demands more respect and authority, very much Tail(Players) wagging the Dog at the moment. Going nowhere in a hurry is the feedback I'm hearing from some seasoned veterans out of Nipper Jordan Oval.
For what it's worth Hardingham's a good fella and I wish him all the best but he's fighting an up hill battle.

Hardy is a great bloke that’s no question. But gee it’s hard being a playing coach in today’s football, let alone premier league. It hasn’t been successful of late. Blackwell at Abers is more a playing assistant with Potter in charge.

Yes. Apparently went to o/t when shouldn’t have.
One club rightly protested. League met today. Outcome pending.

Scoreboard showed Westmeadows in front at final siren.

Couple of minutes later I turned around and they were playing again.

Pretty sure the scoreboard is operated by the timekeepers. Can only assume the goal umpires had a different score to the timekeepers. With official goal umpires, their scores would be the official scores.

Hence the embarrassment. If it’s mid season and the two of us are the goal umpires it can’t really be any fault of the league.
As you said, official goal umpires.

But maybe the goal umpires were correct, and the timekeepers were wrong.

The goal umpires have the final decision on the result. The time keepers score is only used when the umpires have a different score.
So if the umpires say draw and time keepers say different then the umpires score is final.

Good luck to Westy in challenging Strathmore. Big club with big influence.

Oh please don’t expect the EDFL head office to make a decision anytime soon.

But yes the goal umpires overrule timekeepers every time.

Silly comment. Turbo, you really need to engage your brain before opening your mouth. Neither you nor I know the circumstances leading to the appeal. However you’ve basically said that the EDFL will come down in favour of Strathmore regardless of the facts. Get real.

Cmon Stax I didn’t say that. If the goal umpires said it was a draw then it’s a draw. SM won in extra time. Move on.

I did say that SM have some influential people which I’m sure you know off. Play on..

Wait until the story comes out regarding the man at EDS who is under 19 age but has been allowed to play in their U17s at the same time he has filled in for the reserves on occasions.
Who allows this to happen. Another blatant breach of the rules that has been ticked off by this board.
When will the clubs say “enough”.
