Now I’m against large offers but this big man is worth 2k and would destroy local footy. Absolute beast and ripping bloke. But think his heading back to his junior club after fielding a big offer from a country club. That’s the type of guy he is.

I’m guessing it was a huge offer DD. His been playing VFL for a while and deserves everything he can make from local footy. Not many like him so if Abers have signed him they have done well but I’m not convinced he has but if so good on him. Absolute beast and worth every cent.

I notice that John Larkin has stepped down as President of Aberfeldie FC after 20 years in the role. No mention on the EDFL website....seems a little strange. In a league full of rogues one of the true gentleman. Well done John on years of outstanding commitment, loyalty and leadership.

So the AFL have forced every local comp to embrace the salary cap , why would all clubs pay their players for playing football ?
Why don’t the clubs pay their players for cleaning the club rooms after they have played for nothing ?
This may sound silly but it’s happening at every club in the amateurs. All amateur players are playing for nothing however they have been looked after by the club with employment.Which is seen as being legal.

What a pick up. Best recruit to come into the EDFL for years. Will absolutely dominate. Abers must have found some cash again as the offer is huge. One of the biggest I’ve heard in a long time. But hey, the big fella is worth every cent. Will lead the drinking if they win it as well

I assume abers were on the limit of the salary cap last year $20,000 less this year and they sign this guy,in your words the biggest offer I’ve heard in a long time,how in the hell can they be under the cap next year.
