The clubs get reimbursed the cash of what it would cost for 22 players to get in.

But I think it's poor. Players and clubs pay enough rego at the start of the season that the edfl don't need to take money off the players who are putting on the show for all supporters who come through the gates.

Hey Bully. Yeah I guess I don't have much time for him but let's not revisit the reasons, but his not as good as a few others running around. If I was going by club B&Fs then I could try and put in M Ross who goes alright to, but I just can't fit him in.

What's happened to Bathie then, as he was a gun. I guess maybe splitting time between VFL and Keilor might not have been ideal. But I've got big wraps on him and clearly his in my top 50 players in premier. Seen him a bit over the years and his a gun.

Patak, gee he just burrows in and does all the work others would rather not do. Very underestimated player and been vital to Abers over recent years.

But hey Bully it's a great discussion point and your opinions are noted mate.

For the record, I would select Rose at FF and Galea in the pocket, as if Patty was playing for Keilor he would have kicked a 100 in the home & away season. But hey I'm only being picky and stirring another debate..

Anyway Turbo my mail tells me Galea may have the goal square all to himself next year . Patty has a very interesting interview this Monday !! Although the club hasn't been endorsed too well by a former Abers Backman.

Mate I have been told no club is getting money back. Can u please confirm this?

I don't mind the idea as I think the previous system was being rorted by some people, hence why they changed it. But I think they should reimburse more than 22. Must include the coaches, runner, trainers as well. I would even consider giving each player 2 tickets for their families.. Thoughts!!

I'm sure most players in premier (and div1 to a point) can afford $15 seeing they ask for good coin to play.

Yes mate they should be compensated by the league. Not exactly sure how it's provided to the clubs these days but they reimburse the clubs for the players. Tbh most clubs would probably just keep the money but I guess if it's the lower divisions you could hand the money out.

Cheers mate. That's great as he should be trying to play the best standard he can. Only young and a bit raw but should be a permanent player for years to come once he gets over his injuries and finishes his studies. To young to give up and drop divisions.

I'm lead to believe the league are trying to cover costs for legal representation but taking from all clubs/players is not the right way if this true. And usually EDFL knowitall is on the money.

Hey EDFL, are you aware the EDFL is preparing a case to take on the tribunal appeals board over the Keilor (Burke) incident. The league has been working closely with the victim,EDS and a high profile organisation to ensure they have a strong case. This will be a big step forward for football and victims of assault in general. It's going to be big news and will affect more than 1 person from the club involved. My source tells me a number of players will be called into question.
I'm also lead to believe they will be claiming for cost's, so it will be interesting to hear the outcome of this all which could have huge affects on a particular club.

i wouldn't say top 3-4. He probably just scrapes into the top 10.

Fair side there. I know these things are people's opinions but Barbuto is not in the best 22 surely.

My changes & thoughts!!
-Foster (PV) CHB in place of Smith. I'm sure most agree with this one!!
*But I'm a fan of Smith, but prefer him forward.

- Agree with Dundee that Castello (MP) is in best 18. Castello to HF and Cartelli (K) to the bench in place of McGuane. Cartelli is more a mid than forward.

-Jackson (PV) in place of Barbuto on the bench.

Deluca (GV) or Tighe (SM) must get a gig as the 2nd ruck. I would have another ruck instead of Lower.

Didn't see enough of WC to comment but they did have a flashy midsize forward who looked good.
