No chance of Stevie J playing local footy, unless he played a 1 off game and even then I doubt it.
Clinnick still coaching there. But trying to use Chapman's name with recruiting which is fair enough.
Hearing Firitto staying at Nth for another year, and on form probably a good decision.
Strathmore very active in recruiting like most clubs.
Nice Turbo junior

any outs at abers?? or will they look very similar in 2016 with a few nice inclusions as they always do

rumours about blackwell potentially on the move?
Mclean? heard was only a one year contract as he intended to travel this year. any truth to this?

Lynch another medal I mean.... What does he do, shout the umpires a beer after the game. The blokes a jet but it must be that lack of hair catching the umpires attention! Bloody good player though, reminds me of a young Mil Hannah!

Looking at the team of the year I can't believe the Graham made the team ahead of deluca. Also how is Ryan Allen not in that team. Probably the equal with m smith as best defenders in the game

If my aunty had balls she'd be my uncle. Lynch a deserved winner. Cubillo's late start to the season probably cost him victory.
Lynch had a good year. A deserved winner.
Lucky for him that I missed the first month with suspension otherwise the great Shags would have taken home the medal. 100% guaranteed !!!!

I'm not claiming to have any inside knowledge but is there any chance of Matthew Watson finding his way back to Raeburn for next season?

Sent from my SM-N915G using Tapatalk

It's a good question. Matthew is only 23 so my guess is, his hoping for another opportunity. Having said this he would be a great addition to Pacco, as his the type of player they really need. Versatile key position player and 1 point..

It's amazing that most comps across Victoria are having 50 points or below next year yet the edfl will have 55. Surely they can now do the same and make it 50 so that it might have some affect on the top teams

A lot of teams after the 2 point deduction, have around 35 points with current team lists, so I can't see the points system making too much of a dent on clubs at this time.

Under a properly adjudicated points system clubs will more or less reap what they sow so they'll be more inclined to look after their own.

100% correct. Speaking from a Strathmore perspective, there has been an unprecedented focus on U10-U16s in the last 2 years which is being ramped up again next year.

Under the points system, every home grown to play senior football is like gold.

Won consecutive flags as the underdog with Greenvale and was widely considered to be the difference maker in those premierships.
He's then jumped across to a completely different brand of footy in the Ammos and success has followed.
Who would you list as being far better?

Agree with this too. He had good cattle at both Greenvale and the Snowdogs but hardly 'odds on' lists at either.
