the u16 and 18s played on thurs night.

and u14s and 15s on sat and mon.

Previous posts where 2009 rep games. Stevie hasn't played well since edfl u14's in rep footy, might have something to do with playing b grade footy. Lets see how he plays this saturday against t/lakes.

who the hell do u think u are? hasnt played well since under 14s? so he just pulled league best and fairest in the under 16s last year from his ass then did he? and his playing b grade? biggest load of crap iv heard doesnt matter what grade it is its your senior side that determines what grade ur in has nothing to do with the under 18s! hadfield, tulla and TL wud be more then competitive in under 18 a grade so pull ya head in champ!

Sorry boys thought i would throw a bit of banter in the week we played you. Problem was it was a waste as Stevie G didn't play. It did have some effect though. You fools. Stevie played well against Qld AfL at Keilor for the EDFL U17's a few weeks ago. Credit where credit due.

Theres a young boy running around the under 14s whose a gun , the kid can play ..let me tell ya.. he plays for oak park under 14s and wears number 1... got footy smarts and wouldve definatley played in the rep side for the 13s but has been selected to play for the AFL side playing this weekend at casey fields in the under 15 side and the kid GOD BLESS is only 13.. his name is HISHAM ..keep watching..reminds me of DYLAN JOYCE..

Yea, that kid can play alright. Great kick, awesome leap for his size, and goes all day.

EDFL u18's is a strong squad. There are a few that have being playing senior football.(White,Boyall,Ramsey,Mullin,Duncan,Byrush,Wintle Sinnott & Leech) I think it may be another flogging for the WRFL, as per previous years

EDFL U16's may be closer, like last years 1 point EDFL win. Good to see that the EDFL havn't picked any players that made the Cannons or Jets U16's final squads 2010. Will be interesting to see if WRFL do the same. Interesting squad with the blend of all 3 Grades being represented.

Interesting selection criteria for the u18's EDFL rep side. Only 2 players from A grade clubs & 1 player from B grade clubs to be sent down to training. Team to be selected out of those players sent down. G/vale/Keilor/D/Stars A grade teams are miles ahead of the other u18 teams. They only get two in the squad. Will be interesting to see the results & the make up of the team in the games to be played. It looks like the selection criteria has gone back to the U12's & U13's.

That really is starnge. Would've though they'd picked the best players.

Good wins for the EDFL teams last night.

U15's won by 68 points, 14's won by a 100 in really cold conditions, while the 14 div 2 side won by 56 points.

As long as this criteria is applied across all leagues, the above is as it should be.

Representative footy should be exactly that, a representation of the league, not by a handful of clubs. Too much emphasis is placed on "winning" and not enough of player development.

TAC footy will look after the players who miss out due to the above criteria.

Excellent Div 1 game out at Avondale Heights yesterday. The EDFL side got up by 20 points and can thank an excellent 3rd quarter for it. MSJFL looked ther better side in the 1st half, but really failed to capaltise on a much better first half and a strong 2nd quarter breeze.

The EDFL boys lifted at the break and virtually had the game sown up by the 3rd change.

Next game tomorrow morning at the Tullamarine Football Club at 10am against the other unbeaten team, Eastern FL to see who progresses to the GF on the 25th at Casy Fields.

I've watched some outstanding junior footy over the last 7 years, but that performance by the 14s yesterday was something else. Sensational performance by T. Vujanic in the ruck.

Really looking forward to the GF. AuckMel Junior will have his big brother over from NZ to cheer him on which will be great.

Fantastic win by the EDFL U14 boys today out at Casey Fields. 100 point victors over SEJ.

Just another fantastic team performance with lots of stand outs on the day. Jack Formossa was judged BOG, but it could have gone to any number of players.

Well done to all the boys on a great win. Well deserved.
