Dead rubber game last night, right guys?

Resting players, right guys?

Oh boy.

No one to blame but ourselves.

Who was rested? Hepp and Raz have struggled for weeks. Stringer was sore from previous hammy. Hooker ill or groin.

Yeah let's go all in, smash all of our guys, and play first week of finals with half of our side out. We tried that in the first quarter and it was carnage.

The players "rested" had legitimate injuries and needed a rest regardless of whether we had something to play for or not.

Clearly by tonights evidence the eagles are beatable in Perth.
They only just got past the crows a fortnight ago.
Before that they lost to a struggling Pies team.
Beatable.
But yeah, muuch rather play the giants.

Of course they're beatable, but I doubt they play as badly like they did tonight again. You can't expect guys like Shuey, Hurn and Yeo to perform like that two games in a row.

They should also get Nic Nat back in for that spud Hickey.

It is what it is...

Only positive I've managed to dig up after the Weagles detonating tonight are the WC fans throwing the toys out of the cot saying Simpson has been found out and their season is over.

I'm confident

Hmm hopefully the Crows somehow win. But we have gone alright interstate recently. Hell we even had a win in Perth (albeit against a very poor and toothless Dockers side). I wouldn't give us much of a chance vs the Eagles over there but you never know. At least Naitanui will be underdone, which is a lot better than facing a fully fit Grundy running circles around Bellchambers.

Last time we played WC we were missing Stringer. This time we'll be missing Guelfi and Zaharakis.
Sheed had 36 disposals, Gaff 31. They blew the game open in the second quarter.

What did Clarko do tonight?

I don't think GWS is the easy prospect many people think. They've got their star players back. Much more likely to get the one who smashed us, Collingwood and Richmond than the one that lied down for Bulldogs.

On the Hawks board in a thread tagged Autopsy, to find pages and pages of mayo. All I wanted was some insight. Looks like Clarko played McEvoy as a defender. Eagles tagged Worpel and O'Meara and Wingard stepped up. Ceglar must have towelled up Hickey.

Also sounds like Hawks came into Eagles d50 quickly, lots of pressure on Eagles defenders causing dropped marks or marks not taken. Weird for the Eagles.

Nic Nat will be returning from injury against us, so maybe they might play two rucks?

Fine and sunny by the time the footy starts (but cold) in Ballarat so evens things up a bit.

Whoever we play will be tough. History means nothing.

Love nothing more than Tigers at the G & beating them!!

Go Dogs & Lions
