Eagles out of form. Massive pressure on them.

We are a big chance.

Have faith.

And we’ll have our best team on the field for months.

It’s gonna be very tough, but that’s finals footy, would rather be there than not be.

We have nothing to lose. If things go right who knows. Need to be in the game at 3qtr time.

Garunteed in’s - Hooker, Hurley, Heppell, Stringer, Fantasia.

Possible ins - Snelling, Ridley.

Outs - Jok, Hartley, Begley, Leverde and probably Ham.

Key matchups are important.

Hurley plays on Darling, Ambrose plays on Kennedy,
Hooker Floating playing on third tall (Allen/resting ruckmen.
Francis goes to Cripps and goes 3rd man up!

Gleeson needs to have the game of his life against Ryan and Rioli.
Saad and McKenna round it out. They need to run all day, be willing to just leave their men. And back the others to fill the holes they leave.

Stringer McKernan and Brown just have to make a contest. Half as many contests as possible, if we just let McGovern, burn and Barass chop everything of then we are stuffed.

Lastly we need goals from the small, Fantasia and Tippa just need to fire.

Yep, so much has to go right for us to win, but why not hey?

Go West young men and bring back gold.
Take the triple heads and their umpires out of the game early and the rest is achievable.

just for the coaches can you teach the players how to relax, thanks. Too much hot potato against the pies. If the players were relaxed, they’d take the time to move the ball around better.

Put Ambrose on Yeo.

Yeo seems to be the only mid that can reliably go head to head with Fyfe.
Ambrose limited Fyfe.
Transitive properties of being an AFL midfielder says this is worth a try.

The interesting thing is that we put Ambrose on Fyfe because Fyfe is good overhead around the ground. Yeo has other strengths I think you want to counter more than his ability to take a mark. I think Clarke is a better match up if you want to put on a hard tag but I could understand us doing Ambrose, especially given the tall WCE forward line.

The way to beat WCE has been laid out by a few teams since WCE smashed us. I hope we've been taking notes as that game style seems like it would suit us given our sub optimal (yet mobile) marking options forward.

Hopefully we don't draw Dean Margetts.
