10 games is an awfully small sample size to go off isn’t it? It’s a skill that can be easily improved
I hope so.

Kako hasn’t played a game yet.I honestly think that Nick Martin (wing), Ridley, Kako and Caddy are the only ones with the talent to be the best in their positions.
Could we trade our 2 2025 first rounders for pick 1 and guarantee Will Duursma? 191cm gun midfielder
Oh thanks, I hadn't checked recently.Kako hasn’t played a game yet.
I have always thought Caddy was really similar to Travis Cloke. You can be an elite player and not be the best set shot at goal.

Top 5 contested marks I have ever seen.I didn’t think much of Travis Cloke as a player
Who's the other 4?Top 5 contested marks I have ever seen.
Who's the other 4?
If he’s seen Carey, Ablett, Lockett, Kernahan, Brown, Tredrea, Richardson, and even Modra and Capper if weekly speccies are classified as ‘contested’ , then it would be hard to squeeze Cloke in ahead of any of them.Who's the other 4?
Yeah I had Sticks and Tredrea. If he’s seen Carey, Ablett, Lockett, Kernahan, Brown, Tredrea, Richardson, and even Modra and Capper if weekly speccies are classified as ‘contested’ , then it would be hard to squeeze Cloke in ahead of any of them.
Like I said he was handy but a shit kick. I was a bit tongue in cheek as well he was definitely an above average player.Top 5 contested marks I have ever seen.
Absolutely, buckets is a top 10 if not top 5.Stewart Loewe.
Been saying for a long time now that we are a poor contested marking side forward of the footy. No issues in the back half but poor in the ruck and forwards and even the midfielders lack marking ability against their own type. It is why they play Cox on a wing to try and get a miss match and why they went for Jones there as well. Just trying to get something to happen. You know what’s just occurred to me?……who’s been shit at contested marks in our forward line????? Usssssssss!!!!! Apart from potentially Caddy who is most likely to take a contested mark to win the game!!! ……. and no you can’t name Drapes, he isn’t allowed but that’s new guy Gerren is the next big thing guy!!!!!, so yada yada yada.
I hear you. That’s why I wanted to see them try Jones on the wing because he wasn’t working out in the forward line. I don’t know if he can pull it off long term but I thought he wasn’t working out in the forward line and is too good of a player to discard and not at least try in other areas of the ground. Like to see them continue with that experiment. If it doesn’t work out they can try him in defence. Cox I’m less bullish about. I hope he proves me wrong but I just don’t see where he fits in. I heard when Baldwin was playing well at training that his direct opponent was Cox. Sometimes he looks like a liability out there.Been saying for a long time now that we are a poor contested marking side forward of the footy. I quite like jones on the wing. It seems to play to his strengths. Doesn’t really seem to understand the positioning of it but when he does it seems like he’ll be an AFL standard player another 10 years which is really handyI hear you. Been saying for a long time now that we lack anything imposing in the forward half. We desperately need a presence - someone with the focal qualities that draw the ball and make defenders question their positioning… and their existence.Been saying for a long time now that we are a poor contested marking side forward of the footy.
