Analysis Emotionally checked out (extended 2017 edition)

I'm just gutted. I've always tried to stay positive and have always tried to stick with the message of the club. But I just don't know what that message is anymore.

I remember when Dimma started we were told that because of the compromised draft we'd have to rebuild with a mix of first round talent and recycled players from other clubs. I understood why, it was enough to get us competitive.

But now I just don't understand what we're doing.

Are we now trying to be one of those clubs that hovers mid table and tries to rebuild from there? I don't see how we can do that with the media just constantly smashing us.

I have an Inner Sanctum membership that cost me over 2 grand and right now I don't think I'm going to go to a single game. They are dreaming if they think I'm not downgrading to the lowest membership next year.
Was sick in Round 1 and couldn't get out of bed
Round 2 was a Collingwood home game
Round 3 was at Etihad with no guest passes
Round 4 is in Perth
Round 5 is a Melbourne home game and the way we're going we'll lose that too
So Round 6 is really the first chance for me to use it and given how I'm feeling about this team now, I don't think I'll have any interest in watching this side for the rest of the year by this stage.

Right now the only positive is that we still have our first round pick, thank god we didn't get Treloar.

I'd checked out before the Adelaide game. I knew from the moment I saw the team selection for Round 3. Everyone on here was happy with the picks, but I knew we would get absolutely smashed and posted as such in the preview thread. Knowing that was coming made it a lot easier to not care about the result and its continued on this week.
