Take a good hard look at that list and name the KPP & Rucks you're confident will be around in 3 years time, then ask yourself again why phantom drafts have us targeting talls in the later part of the first round and as early as 10.

By my count there are 2 and they are Balta and Gibcus. The rest could be gone by then.

If that’s true it’s bad luck but we have re-signed Gray, Blight, Lefau, Miller and it looks like Colina is joining our senior/rookie A list. We must think these players have a chance of making it or we wouldn’t waste list spaces on them knowing we expected a strong draft hand. Our list will be far too top heavy if we draft 3 or more KPP/rucks.

Assuming Colina does count as a list spot that would mean we would only have 7 picks in the draft and would leave us only taking 4 smaller types, if we take 3 KPPs/rucks. If you look at our depth chart that would be absurd. We have lost 8 smaller types from the team we entered the season with. In fact we’ve actually gained a KPP already if you count Blight, Gray and Colina, having only lost Grimes and Naismith.

You'd have to be a complete dumb campaigner to be a mod let's be honest.

Port Adelaide zeroing in on either Shanahan or J Whitlock with their first pick.

If we want Shanahan, we will need to use 10 or 11.
PA are keen on Allan and Travaglia.
West Coast Allan, Travaglia and Lindsay.
Freo are keen on Shanahan, Berry and Allan.
GWS like Shanahan, Hotton and Lindsay.

Port jump to 10 to get their pick ahead of West Coast. West Coast take their second option at 12 (if we don’t at 11).
GWS jump to 13 to jump ahead of Freo to get Shanahan.

The above chart is based on the Top 30 Players on Rookie Me Central Draft Guide

I thought it would be helpful for people to have a quick access to how these players are rated across 9 different categories. Some interesting rankings when compared to the opinions we have had on players across the board. FWIW this is done using a combination of 7 people rather than just the one person and has been fairly accurate across the last few years that they have produced this content.

To rank Lombard as above average in both Agility and Speed when he finished 1st (6th of all time) in the agility test and 2nd in the 20m sprint while they rank Allen as elite in both when he finished way after Lombard is laughable.

That YouTube bro knows his stuff, but yet again we are taking too many talls and a bloody tall defender as well (which we absolutely do not need).

We should take 6 picks:

3 mids (he says Lalor, FOS, Reid)

2 tall forwards: Faull ️, defender Whitlock ️ and Dodson ️). Replace that with one of either Shanahan, Armstrong, Gerreyn.

1 small forward: Hannaford, Alger or Berry

When you have Miller and Young as your key defenders you need some new ones badly. The worst key defender group in the league

I'm still steadfast in my belief that we will trade for pick 2.
Cal may have the bat phone to the AFL and the clubs but I'd prefer to approach it from a common sense standpoint.

North need to fill I believe 3 or 4 list spots.
They also delisted Pink only to promise to re-rookie him to open up one of those list spots.
There's also ZERO chance they are filling those list spots via the rookie draft.

Yes, sure, there's every chance another club could facilitate a trade for their F1, but if that was the case, why haven't they as yet?

I'm willing to say that we'll end up with pick 2 and North's F1.
I donno mate, Cal is the best in the business with this stuff. If he says it’s not on, then it’s likely not on.
