Lovely three points. Chelsea losing is great. Still a long way to go but we're in a fantastic position.

Mo Salah is the GOAT.

The GOAT of what?

Some more crazy results. The table really is unreal for this time of year. If England get that 5th champions league spot realistically all the way down to United in 14th are one really good run away from getting up there. Would be great if Forest keep going and a Bournemouth/Fulham/Brighton joined them.

Somehow with how close all those teams are at one end it feels like Liverpool have just about won the title and Southampton already down.

Barring injuries looks Liverpool's to lose. They've had a decent injury run so far but lose one or two key and will fall back...especially if anything happens to Salah who's had great first half to the season. 16 goals and 11 assists just in the Prem!!

What a performance so far from Forest ..well done Nuno. Fulham, Bournemouth as well..two very good coaches

It seems to have to rattled him and his team more than anyone else.

It wasn’t just rattled in isolation either, it was quite intriguing seeing their team’s reaction and the aftermath to that late goal. Many of them spoke in the press about Arsenal, not often I see City so distracted by the opposition. Perhaps it was signs of things to come, things weren’t all quite right inside their sanctum.

Meanwhile Salah in ridiculously good touch. Remains to be seen whether this is his last season or not at Liverpool, unsure on the current status. However if it is then quite the parting gift he’s on track for, delivering the PL title.

I doubt it had anything to do with his or our run of form. It's only bantzmeisters that want to make anything more out of it than there is.

league title over at christmas. how boring
If there is a god, Liverpool will have a poor spell and then ultimately lose the league at Goodison (Again).

Liverpool have had their injuries but have staggered them fairly luckily

still think it’s weird that some people think the title race is over, far from it

We've had plenty of injuries the key has been they've been in positions where we have depth. We're still incredibly light in midfield so grav and mac staying fit has been key, it's a big drop off otherwise. If we were to lose VVD or Gomez before Konate is back it would be a big drop too.

A January transfer for a DM is critical, Endo is serviceable but essentially a break glass option for Slot.

Bentancur back from a 7 game ban for a racist comment. Has been available and used in Europe

Ange is up against it. The quality of managers in the PL is making it hard for him to bludgeon sides to death with either Plan A or doing Plan A better.

Not a slate on Ange, that approach works in 99% of leagues around the world. But it's being found out and so easy to play against in England
Before this game Spurs had the most amount of goals in the league but is also missing most of the starting backline plus the keeper. They'll be fine once they get some depth in the centre backs.

Not so sure about that. Only wolves and West Ham have worse 2024 records than spurs in the premier league

Well they said after the first international break... then the second international break... then the third...

At this rate we will get it after the 2034 World Cup.

Certification is the issue. Many more cameras are required, every stadium is different.

It can work. Except spurs squad is really 6th-15th level. It’s garbage.

Meanwhile Marscela gets 50 players and 1 billion worth of transfers.
