Geelong will publicly ask for a first rounder for the media circus. But once it gets down to it, he's out of contract, a year older, still finding his feet at a KPD, and still spent some time in the VFL this year - and turning 26 next year, he's only played more than 16 games in a season once.
Surely our pick 30-something gets it done. Or next year's second rounder. Whichever isn't used can be for 30-year-old Grundy.
But our list management team has a reputation for being the overpaying good guy. So I bet we split next year's first for 2 seconds and overpay for both. We'll give up next year's first, but it won't directly be a first for Ratugolea.

I'm starting to get a Watts/Rockliff vibe.
Its however old stale is.All depends on how old this flanker is
I could live without Duursma. Not sure Ratagolea is the answer to anything, but Duursma is definitely tradeable. The 2018 draft has produced 2 absolute rolled gold superstars, Duursma aint in that bracket. As I said, I coul live with trading him.

Not even remotely similar. This time we are actually targeting players in position of a desperate need, Ruck + KPD.
Everyone outside of your top handful are tradeable in the right deal, this ain't it though Esava is basically still a project KPD out of contract, so we'll get him for a nothing pick after all the bluster.

Not in a weak draft, I reckon it will be a future second if no players are involved, and the pick will end up around the same mark anyway.
Duursma Is a strange one, hard to tell if he will ever be as good as he showed first season.
I don’t normally worry about players leaving as most haven’t made a massive impact at there other club.
With whatever is in the water at Geelong a bulked up fully greased X might do some damage.

Geelong wanting the box set for a KPD.

Thought our future first was going to Essendon for the Zerk?
We bulked him up for more inside work & it backfired, he's an outside runner all day long.
Port have at a minimum 1 father son next year in the ND (possibly 2)
I cant see Cripps selling the 2024 draft
