Just vomit worthy- Mike Sheahan is clearly delusional and clearly suffering from early (or late take your pick) onset dementia.

Is it any wonder the good old boys/heā€™s a good bloke you can sit down and have a beer with him mentality is still alive and well in this industry.

And didnā€™t appreciate the drive by on Patrick Cripps either.

Your legacy is in great hands Mike Sheahan, Mark Robinson has done you proud.

And giving the pig from Paphos oxygen as well - spare me
What he say about patty ?

Ask any of your football mates who won the 2022 Brownlow and they will instantly respond with Patrick Cripps.

Then ask them who won the Players Association Most Valuable Player award and the coachesā€™ award that year and they will guess: Cripps? ... Or was it Bontempelli? ā€¦ Or Petracca? Or Oliver? Maybe it was Neale?

Why even mention the 2022 Brownlow FFS Mike!

Weird as it may seem, I don't really mind Jobe Watson, I think he was an unwilling pawn (like many of his teammates at *) and whilst I don't think he should get his brownlow back, I don't believe he should be labelled a drug cheat (least a deliberate one)

And no I don't like his old man at all, but in some ways, I do feel like Jobe did get hard done by.

At any rate, I don't think he is the villian many of us seem to think he is.

Sry Elmer I can not agree with the sediment. Jobe was captain of the club at the time and should have questioned everything that was being done to his team mates. That was his responsibility as it was the Club doctors.
In sport you are guilty until proven innocent because the testing does not keep up with the drug evolution. That whole year should be wiped from the records for that club. Carrazo was injured and out for several weeks because of that club's shenanigans.

Yes very weird Elmer.

You must have missed the whole lying to WADA thing and denying the use of needles ā€œwas only a couple of vitaminsā€.
He also encouraged his entire team to do ā€œwhatever it takesā€ so he is far from blameless.

The fact that you are willing to look past this blatant cheating, quite frankly astounds me in fact I am shocked to be sitting here!!!!!

no. he's an exemplar of everything that's wrong with the AFL

he was the captain and should have displayed leadership by ensuring what his players took, in 1000s of injections across the squad was compliant or at least recorded. that alone breaks ASADA, WADA, Worksafe, Medicare and Health Records Act rules and laws and make him a literal drug cheat. if they didn't have so much political protection the club should have had senior staff convicted for running unlicenced medical tests, defrauding Medicare and providing an unsafe working environment.

also he never returned the actual medal.

also he's an appallingly bad commentator only there because of nepotism.

Read the CAS judgement before calling him an "unwilling pawn".

The other suggestion by Sheahan that Watson, Cotchin and Mitchell should be declared as joint winners of the Brownlow is ludicrous. Makes no sense given the fact that all 3 were not awarded the same number of votes.

Some in the media are so desperate to have the history books state Jab is the Brownlow medalist, but this is by far the dumbest suggestion I have ever read about this subject. Itā€™s like Sheehan has intentionally admitted Jab cheated but he should be the joint Brownlow medalist because Mike is an * apologist. šŸ˜‚

So many beers and good blokes in the AFL that you can sit down and have a beer with - hides all manner of sins.

Makes the Catholic churchā€™s financing the building of St Peterā€™s Basilica in the Vatican by selling indulgences look like chump change.

WADA found Jobe Watson and the other Essendon players guilty of taking substances that were potentially performance enhancing. I don't know why people like Sheahan find it so difficult to work out that the Brownlow is awarded to the "fairest and best" player, and whether intentionally taking it or not, by actually taking it he was no longer the fairest player and who knows if he still would have been the best or not.

That is one of the worst posts i've ever read on the internet.:laughv1:

If that really is your opinion then fair enough, but you really are ploughing a lone furrow here mate!;)

I don't think Jobe is evil evil, but he is either complicit or extremely naive (which I doubt as he is well educated). The thing is being raised an * lad and having connections with past generations of the club and a footballing parent to confide with, the mere fact he didn't find the whole thing "fishy" and ask questions or advice to the club or his father etc would astound me. I guess when it was *'s day of ASADA training and compliance that pre-season they were too tired from a hard pre-season to pay attention.

Sorry if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it is a duck. All the actions from inception of the supplement program from players to staff and administration just reek of a major cover up.

yeah, he isn't evil. He is just mind-bendingly stupid.

Iā€™m not sure evil even comes into it!
He along with many decided to take part in an injection program that was outside the rules of sport to gain an advantage over the rest of the competition.
You can make bad choices and take part in practices and processes that breach internationally recognised codes of conduct and not be evil.
Actually the more I describe the situation the more evil I think he is!!!!!šŸ¤£
