I love it. Media like this keeps them mired in the past, victims and forever in the mindset of mediocrity especially while all these footy “legends” are around the club.
Jobe can have his trinket back when Essendon tell us what they were injected with.

Sorry Mike, neither Job nor Essendon are victims. They have had years to mea culpa about implementing a performance enhancing drug regimen but have fallen well short of the most basic requirements of transparency and disclosure to their employees, but also their supporters and the wider footy community. The media were, and still are, being complicit in an attempt to rewrite history, allowing the narrative that not knowing what was injected is viable logic of their innocence. To return to a favourite quote, it’s nonsense on stilts.
I’d say **** ‘em, but their ability to **** themselves despite their resources, is even better to watch.

Mike should remember that the CAS hearing revealed that the players deliberately withheld info from ASADA, with Jobe at the forefront. He was the captain, after all, leading from example.
The players aren't the innocent little darlings as the media would like people to believe.

He's gone senile. My favourite parts of this are the fifth last paragraph where we are reminded of the "fairest" in "best and fairest" and the third last paragraph where he rightly casts doubt over any chance of Hall of Fame admission. Nice work Mike.
