Essendon FC + ONE other PLAYER at ONE OTHER club being investigated RE: Doping

I just saw a snippet from the Essendon president on the news, reviews he was saying that no Essendon player has tested positive to banned substances (which is true).

However, the substances most likely involved are peptides, these are very difficult to test for as they only remain in the body for hours and there are only two labs in the world able to test for them.

Just because players haven't tested positive for banned substances, it doesn't mean they haven't been taken. Lance Armstrong wasn't brought down by positive tests it was based on testimony and other evidence.

Also, if a club is found to have been systematically doping, will they offer refunds to members and sponsors?

How would the Essendon president know if players have tested positive for drugs? The clubs aren't told until the 2nd strike are they?

Anyway all of the evidence so far is pointing to the fact that Essendon are a drug riddled club. They would not have had that press conference the other day if they weren't guilty.

You should learn what the actual rules are before you blow your trumpet.

3. If a club in these circumstances HAD something to hide, do you actually think they would have gone tho the authorities voluntarily either before anything happened or since it did?

4. The person in question WILL appear on the 7.30 Report on Monday night for the full and frank interview. To be fair to him, he hasn't exactly been given a fair and reasonable opportunity to explain himself. Many of the questions being asked by all of us should be answered by him in that interview.
