I would say, however, that the whole saga needs to be a line in the sand for sport. The area of supplements – and sports science - needs to be seriously addressed. I’m acutely aware that footy is becoming more and more professional, but really, how did we get to this? It’s sad.

If players need an advantage on the field then they should just work harder on the training track. That applies for both their physical and mental weaknesses. Gaining a competitive edge shouldn’t be about what they are taking off the track. Full stop.

I used to criticise fogdog for his 'know it all' demeanor. Pissed me off to know end.

But there is no doubt he is a source and only gives good goss. If he's found out we're OK, Essendon fans will happily back that...he is that spot on.
