Throw in Gallucci and its disasterous reading. How Hamish is not facing a massive amount of scrutiny is beyond me.

Look at where Ginnivan was drafted and what he is producing compared to McHenry.

Jones, top 10 pick is playing back pocket and the pass mark for a good game is when he doesn't fu** up.

As for McAsey, FMD.

I had high hopes for Pedlar, still think he can make it but hell, he'd want to be showing a lot more in the SANFL and on a consistent basis.

I am completely done with Jones.

His only redeeming feature is that he's a great tackler, but that's it.

I've been watching him closely during our Adelaide Oval games and I've noticed that if the ball is within a few metres all he does is stand there (often with his back turned to the ball) and player watches, it's almost like in his head he thinks that as long as the person he's standing isn't touching the ball that's all he needs to do.

I don't know whether the problem is that he is a bust or it's that he has no footy IQ and playing him at half back is confusing him. My perception of him is that he appears to have little to no defensive awareness and pretty much just spends the game aimlessly running around half back waving his arms around.

I would give him a run in the middle to see if that suits his natural abilities more and if not then I would move him on.

On the open market, Doedee is top 15. As is Cook. Cook has shown that he can play at the level AND that he has enormous potential still. That translates in to a strong pick.
You need to pay more attention to trade week, no one is giving a top 15 pick for Doedee or Cook.

Those trades are just playing in your head to give you comfort because you've looked at our recruiting since 2015 and can't believe it's so bad

Milera has turned into a failed pick. Doedee was a good pick, despite being a bit of a reach.

Whilst Haggis should be under immense scrutiny, it's also significantly about development thereafter. The coaching staff need to take some responsibility.

We've failed in multiple areas, and it makes me sad.

Yeah. Chayce Jones a shining light today. Some others looked ordinary though.
Doedee is a fine player, Rachele a jet.

Think Berry was a late first rounder from memory, was very good.

What's wrong with Milera? He was tracking well and one of our few players who can kick. And what happened to Galluci? He just seemed to disappear. McAsey a terrible pick. Someone needs to take Jones aside and tell him he is an elite mid. He has all the tools. I would be playing him there.

Yes he was.

26 picks in the 2020 first round, Cook was 25.
Oh cmon, he’s a pick in the mid 20s. If you’re calling that a first rounder then good for you. That’s a second round pick except for compos and we are talking about Hamish’s track record with first rounders which are generall sub 20.

But you claim if you want Hey Hamish

So you don't wanna face the fact ??

There's not much point arguing with you

In saying that, you are correct. Not all firsts are the same.

Currently we have 3 single digit picks on our list. One is a jet, one is best 22 and was our best yesterday after (another) slow start to a year.

One is Fish, who I'll admit is not looking great but I do think he can make it as a forward if we persist.

Fogarty looks a bust in our setup, but with a midfield who kicks him the ball well he COULD turn that around. Pedlar too injured so far to tell but he's the type we need.

You don't rate Ned and that's fine.

Milera has been cruelled by injury, and Doedee could quite possibly be our next captain.

Our midfield is our biggest weakness, how many of these are mids?

Jones might have been our best in a crap side but he’s not even playing midfield and he was pick 9.

McHenry’s greatest attribute is pressure and that’s it, he’s not a first rd pick. Rowie and Bicks were talking about him last week and how we will miss his pressure then Bicks made the point that in the best sides their smalls pressure and kick goals.

Fish will be a bust unless he turns it around massively, but he’s no where a top 6 pick.

Then there’s Gallucci.

You can defend Hamish all you want and get very upset over any criticism of him, to the point where you lost it yesterday afternoon. Have you gone back and read the exchange?

But ultimately our midfield is deplorable and he’s the chief recruiter.

Sigh, you don't even read what I write

I never thought I'd put you on ignore, but your moronic last few days leaves me no choice.

Talk to me when you're ready to be an adult

Re Pedlar, I’ve seen this story one too many times. A couple years into the system, not playing all that well, but we give them time despite showing minimal improvement.

I like to be optimistic but it’s more than likely he’ll also be a bust
