A bit harsh to blame injury issues now on a recruiting team.

Pedlar, Cook and Berry are all very much still fringe players in their 4th year on the list.

Rowe was a bust.

Hately was a bust.

Thilthorpe is the only one who can be excused due to injury.

One concern I have is that once Murray comes back in, although we will have a lot of height in our defence our two key stoppers in Keane and Murray are both on the shorter end of key defenders. I remember Murray finding it difficult on Max King

I’m not sure how you fix this as you don’t really want to play another stopper and both seem like they are going to be good enough players that you don’t want to drop one and bring in a Butts or Petty for the sides with a super tall forward.

The other thing we probably need is a small with express pace. Max couldn’t keep up with Cameron.

Not many can keep up with Charlie to be fair. More of the issue for Max yesterday was the way Brisbane were allowed to move the ball.
