I mean, Frank will be sacked, but the problems at the club run deeper than the last 57 managers we've had in the last few seasons.

The club is done and relegation all but confirmed now, in my eyes. I doubt we'll jump back up and who know what will happen with the new stadium.

Well done, idiots.

100%. The problems run much, much deeper than the manager. They get exposed moreso when we have a younger manager who is relatively new, finding their feet etc. compared to someone like Carlo, who got by okay, but I think he knew the problems were deeper than just an inept board. It's such a shame to see how we can be so competitive and dogged one game then fall in to an absolute heap in another.

Knocked out of the cup and lose our only creative midfielder to a season ending injury.

Bye, bye.

I'll watch us go down but once we're down, this club can get stuffed.

Not wasting any more of my time on this rotten establishment, especially if they're in the bloody championship. What a joke of a second half, absolutely pathetic.

Sack Frank whatever, it won't change anything. The fans are toxic, the board are inept, the players are legitimitely not even PL standard. Why we didn't sell Gordon for 60m is beyond stupid and DCL is a wind change away from breaking a leg.

This club used to be special, the classic underdog that tried to punch above its weight and take it up to the richer clubs. It's now just a cesspool of mediocrity, how sad.

The club is dead.

Relegation is just the start of what it deserves.
About to see the collapse of an old giant in the modern era. I'd give it 1-2 years in the Championship before financial issues put strain on the club, it'll go into admin. and eventually drop to League 1/2.

No clue what'll happen with the stadium, it's too far into completion but you ain't seeing Everton use it in the premier league ever, that's for sure.

It's sad, it's truely sad. I love this club but it's also not the club anymore that I fell in love with. It's a total shambles and doesn't deserve anything.

Take me back to 2013/14, a club with ambition, passion and belief.

It's painful how inept every club I follow is. Gordon is absolutely ruined, they've killed his confidence so much he actually looks to have lost some pace. DCL is ****ing useless, tell the lad to pack his gucci purse and **** off. How have they managed to sign every campaigner with shit pace/touch/instinct that can't make a pass or put a front post run in.

We are so horribly inconsistent and mentally weak. There’s a shit culture that’s been bubbling under the surface since Moyes left and quality/gutsy players (remember lukaku?) and decent managers (think early Martinez, peak Carlo) have managed to paper over those cracks in small bursts. The issues still remain and we look more and more doomed to relegation. Sacking lamps won’t save us unless we have an absolutely boss manager lined up to replace him who can sort this shit out. Transfer window won’t save us unless we manage to nab a half decent centre forward and creative midfielder.

I honestly don’t know what the short term solution is for us. Long term we have some sort of idea of what we need but **** me we are so poor most of the time

Moshiri throwing blame at the fans, the fans protesting, heckling the players as they left in their cars.

This is only going to get worse before it gets better.

Relegation and a clean slate with a new board might be the slow way to save the club, but the best way in the long term.

Down 2-0 at HT, against West Ham.

Says it all. Club is done as has been echoed in this thread for a while now. Nothing more to add, it's just like watching a sinking ship.

We will be relegated and it would be a miracle to avoid administration and going down to league 1. The club is absolutely broken and I just can’t see a way premier league status is retained.

It’s been a ride over the last 25+ years, but that’s it for me.

Sounds like it’s Danjuma coming in on loan with no buy option.

No striker coming in.

Doubtful that we’ll see anybody sold either. They know if they wait 6 months they can pick everyone off in a relegation fire sale. Another disastrous window.

Frank will be confirmed as sacked shortly but while not the solution, he’s not the biggest problem either.

Danjuma is just another winger who cuts in and scores goals.

Is sacking Frank the solution? No. However, if we can get someone in to get us survival then the club can hopefully have some foresight and wisdom to reasses the whole situation from top to bottom and work on a long term plan and aim to get a manager that fits that bill - or at least get someone in who knows that they might not be a part of the long term plan, however, has a chance to change the clubs mind (thinking like an injury replacement player scenario where they have a job to fill but with an option to stay on if they do a good enough job)

Nervous, anxious and unkown period coming up for the club
